We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Sade, the Community Relations Director at Bellingham at Orchard, after the Miles 4 Memories event and she is truly something special. Sade took the time to show us around the community, and you can immediately feel how much care and intention has gone into every detail. The environment is thoughtfully designed, with strong contrast in wall colors to support visibility, and personalized elements on residents’ doors that help them recognize their own space. These small touches make a meaningful difference. The courtyard is beautiful and fully walkable, creating a safe and calming outdoor space. We were also impressed by the activity calendar and the activity team size. It is full of variety, offering residents multiple ways to engage based on their interests and abilities. Most importantly, what stood out was the heart behind it all. Sade’s passion for the residents and their families is another level. We would highly recommend Bellingham at Orchard to anyone looking for exceptional memory care for their loved ones.

The activities team Marla, Mia, and Oasis are wonderful. Their patience, generosity, and joy in their work shows daily. The residents are treated so kindly and engaged in games and activities that not only stimulate their minds like playing brain games but also their bodies with chair exercises. The activities are suited for all like painting or matching mismatched socks. Truly cannot say enough. It’s a pleasure to watch and participate with them!

Dementia is a difficult diagnosis to accept, for both the person diagnosed and their family members. I've been through it myself with my late mom and know first hand how difficult it is to find the right care environment. For the last several months I have been doing rounds at The Bellingham at Orchard playing harp for the residents. I've gotten to know many of the residents as well as the staff and look forward to my weekly visits there. It's just a lovely environment all around and the residents seem well cared for. Marla Thal, the Activities Director, is especially wonderful and worth mentioning. Marla knows all the residents well and engages them with her cheerful, warm and attentive presence. She organizes regular outings along with a long list of appropriate activities while creating a community for the residents to enjoy. I highly recommend The Bellingham at the Orchard and know that my own mom would have loved it there.

I visit The Bellingham at Orchard weekly and am always impressed by the facility, the staff and the care the residents receive. The exterior and interior are designed like nice hotel....bright, clean and cheery. But the people working there are what really make the place shine. Everyone from the receptionist to the caregivers to the aides are sunny, upbeat and kind. Marla Thal sets the tone with her enthusiastic support of her fellow employees and energetic engagement with the residents.
