Cordata Court

Cordata court has amazing employees who will go the extra mile to make your loved ones feel at home. I am extremely impressed by their memory care unit. Laurie Lukins, Memory Care Director especially fantastic at her job. The entire unit is sparkling clean, and residents are treated with dignity and respect. They have the unique feature of sitting in a beautifully decorated dining room for all meals. The residents are given warm scented hand towels to clean their hands before meals. They all well taken care of and appear happy.

My wife's grandmother stayed here for a number of years as her dementia progressed. Initially it seemed like she received decent care, but as her condition worsened so did her living situation. She had a dog that the staff was supposed to take care of, but instead they filled her food bowl to overflowing and put a pee pad in the bathtub instead of taking her out of on walks, as they were directed and paid to do. When my wife visited shortly before her grandma was rescued from this nightmare, there was dog poop and trash all around her unit and it smelled abominable. Her dog was terribly overweight and unhealthy and it was hard to even walk around her room. I had also visited together with my wife on an earlier occasion, and when we took her out to dinner one night at her favorite restaurant, when we came back slightly late (which a staff member had assured us would be fine), no one answered the buzzer or phones to let us into the locked building. When we finally reached someone at the front desk, she couldn't be bothered- we literally had to threaten to call the police to get her to open the door. Altogether a rotten establishment that clearly doesn't actually care for the well-being of those with Alzheimer's if they think they can get away with it. Do not subject your loved ones to conditions like these.

I moved in to the Cottages at Cordata Court a year ago. I have been very pleased with the staff and facitlities here. The staff gets to know you personally and cheerfully helps with whatever you need. The cottages are duplex or triplex style single-level housing. They provide the freedom of independent living with the benefits of assisted living: house keeping, meals, maintenance, and support just a phone call away. Cordata Court did an excellent job of keeping us safe during the Covid pandemic, all staff wearing masks and delivering meals to our cottages since the main dining room was not open. Cordata Court provided all residents Covid vaccine shots, finishing the second shots in mid February. They also provided a flu shots last fall. I love the location of Cordata Court. It is a very walkable neighborhood, close many services. I'm very glad I found this place. Perfect for me.

I have a dear and close friend living at Cordata Court and have to say I despise that place! The food is pathetic and as a guest the price is outrageous. I now bring food to share with my friend at her apartment when we meet. $13. for a meal is ridiculous. The vegetables are either frozen or canned, the coffee is weak and tastes like it has been on the burner all day. At the evening meal you are rushed out of the dining room as they want to close for the night. I think corporate should wear a mask when asking for the rents they charge!! I hope I die before having to go there.
