Silverado Bellingham Memory Care Community

Leah, Rosalee, and the entire staff are fantastic. Prior to moving my mom to Silverado I had her in several other assisted living facilities, all of which I would be continuously worried about her care, falls, etc. She has now been at Silverado for just over a year and her mental and physical health have improved SO much in the last year.

My husband and I toured this beautiful facility in order to find out what Silverado offers. While we were there, there was a concert being held for the residents. We were so impressed as it was lively and upbeat and the residents were loving it!!! The facility is immaculate and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Silverado Bellingham is definitely #1 in our plans when the need arises.

My experience with Silverado Memory Care has been extremely upsetting. During my visits, I personally witnessed residents left sitting in soiled clothing and needing attention for far too long. It was heartbreaking to see people who deserve dignity and compassion not receiving timely care. I expected a facility specializing in memory care to be attentive, responsive, and respectful toward vulnerable residents, but what I saw did not reflect that. Families place enormous trust in staff to provide basic comfort and cleanliness, and that trust was not honored in what I observed. I truly hope management addresses these issues, because the residents deserve far better.

Silverado was absolutely fantastic in the care they provided for my grandpa. From the very beginning, it was clear that it was more than just a memory care community—it truly felt like family. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure he was safe, comfortable, and most importantly, happy. The compassion, patience, and genuine love they showed him meant the world to us and gave our family so much peace during a difficult time. The atmosphere at Silverado was always warm and welcoming. It was kid-friendly and pet-friendly, which made our visits extra special. My grandpa especially lit up when he got to interact with pets and children—it brought him so much joy. The activities, the sense of community, and the heartfelt care made Silverado a truly amazing place. We will always be grateful for the way they cared for my grandpa and the kindness they showed our entire family.
