My uncle has always been very independent, so deciding on assisted living wasn’t easy. The staff at Sonata made the transition incredibly smooth, and now he’s truly thriving. There are daily activities that keep him engaged, and the team is attentive to both residents and families. The quality of care and communication are outstanding. The staff keeps us informed, listens to our input, and is always flexible and creative in meeting individual needs. The smaller size of the community means everyone is known personally, and their open-door policy makes families feel welcome and involved. Sonata genuinely cares about the well-being of both residents and their loved ones. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my uncle.

I am from NYC and went to visit my family member at Sonata. I would highly encourage anyone that is looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones to live there. The staff was very open to accommodating him with various health issues that he has. The grounds were so beautiful, peaceful and very clean. The daily activities being offered were also so important because it keeps him entertained, engaged and socializing with other residents. The talented chef that prepares the three meals that are offered: breakfast, lunch and dinner were better than the next. The rooms were also accommodating to each resident since they offer them to have their own private living quarters and they can decorate it anyway they want to. I can’t say enough about how much I love Sonata!! I’ve even told my friends in NYC and are considering it for themselves!

My mom has been in Sonats since 2/25. She is VERY happy! The staff is great. The place is small so the residents actually care about each other. It’s a great community!

I witnessed a patient with a double diaper! they don't even change the patients daily. The Urine smell in the hallways is horrible. I personally observed the director of nurses Jennifer Freud walking from room to room without changing her gloves at all, there was a scabies outbreak in the facility. It seems that her cell phone takes precedence over her responsibility to know each patient's names and their medications. This lack of awareness is alarming. She sets a poor example for the rest of the nursing staff it's unacceptable. Please do not place any family member you care about in this facility.
