Sonata Delray Beach

My father recently moved in and I am so pleased with the staff, directors, meals, property and room. It’s beautiful there and they keep it well-maintained and clean. Sonata Delray really treats their residents and families with kindness and respect and you can tell it’s all the time because the other residents emulate that. After much apprehension about the move, my dad seems at home in his new space. My family couldn’t be happier with our experience so far. I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and encouragement during this challenging time.

Sonata West Delray is an incredible place for my mom. She’s been there for over three years and loves it! I can’t say enough about Sonata and the care, respect and kindness that she and all the residents receive. They have many activities including animals coming to visit (see below picture), and the residents love this. The Executive Director, John Culhane, is always reachable even after hours. He even communicates to the families with a Monthly Community Update….I just cannot say enough about how wonderfully he runs this facility. All the employees are so very kind! I have and will continue to recommend Sonata Delray to my family and friends. Awesome senior facility!💜

Our mom has been in memory care at Sonata Delray Beach since March of 2020 - just before the pandemic radically changed the world. John Culhane and the staff at Sonata handled those unprecedented times with incredible professionalism and care for all the residents. I can't thank them enough for all they have done these past couple of years and all they do every day to make sure my mom and all the other residents are happy, well fed, entertained and feel loved. Our family can rest easy knowing that our mom is in excellent hands with the folks at Sonata. Zinnette Francois (memory care manager) and the memory care staff are exceptionally patient and great at working with folks with dementia. Simone is the perfect activities organizer. She is bubbly, outgoing, energetic and clearly loves her job and the residents there at Sonata. We're very glad we chose Sonata Delray Beach for our mom.

It is such a heart wrenching emotional journey when you realize you are no longer able to take care of your parents. I vetted over 7 places in the area and interviewed their staff. Sonata Delray has what I consider to be the Ritz Carlton of staff - these people are who we are relying on to truly care for our family. Director Paul is truly trustworthy Suzanne is genuine and from the heart doing her best to guide us in these very vulnerable times in life. Jose the man in charge of my dads building is so conscientious of doing his best to keep my dads quality of life he’s a beautiful soul and ALL the staff, to me, are genuinely trying to bring positivity they are not just there for a paycheck a vibe you get in many other similar places. Thank you all I am humbled and appreciative of what you do for my dad Don.
