The Arbor at Delray

Moving my mother into The Arbor at Delray was a big decision, and from the very beginning, the entire experience has exceeded our expectations. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and well-maintained, but what truly makes it special is the incredible staff. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zusely Melendez. She is truly exceptional to work with. From our first meeting, she has been professional, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly compassionate. She took the time to answer every question, guided us through each step of the process, and made what could have been an overwhelming transition feel smooth and reassuring. It is clear that she genuinely cares about the residents and their families. Knowing my mother is in such a caring and supportive environment gives our family tremendous peace of mind. We are so grateful to Zusely and the entire team at The Arbor at Delray for making us feel welcomed and supported every step of the way. I would highly recommend The Arbor at Delray to anyone looking for a senior living community where residents are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

I was recently hired to perform for Independence Day. Not only was I incredibly impressed with the staff, but all the residents seem so happy and so communal. While my parents have passed a few years ago, this is the kind of facility I would have wanted them to spend their last years in. Beautiful, clean and friendly.

I recently helped a relative search for a new residence. We selected the Arbor Delray and (after his living there for over a month) we are tremendously happy. I had visited many senior residential complexes and the Arbor Delray is far superior to the others in numerous ways. The building-very nice looking in all areas, only a couple of years old, new building code, generators, impact glass, etc. Extensive facilities: theater, gym , pool, salon, billiards, ping pong, art center, game room, library, solarium, bar, professionally staffed wellness center The staff-WOW! helpful, kind, caring, patient. Each and everyone is exemplary. I would like to give special shout-outs to: Zusy, Dawne, David, and Sophie. The residents-warm, welcoming, friendly, fun. The average age here is younger than at the other facilities. Most of the residents are in their late 60's or in their 70's. Financials-The entrance fee at 10K is quite low by industry standards. I find it surprising that many consumers when visiting facilities with a large entrance fee (ranging from 200K-1 million) think that the 80% that will be returned upon leaving the facility is 80% of comparable value. Inflation and lack of growth are not factored in. After a number of years 80% is not a comparable 80%. Additionally, since all of these companies form separate corporations or LLCs for each of their locations, its scary to know that there have been instances where seniors have been displaced after spending huge amounts of money on entrance fees when a particular facility has folded. Activities-There are numerous fun activities to choose from each day. The schedule varies. The restaurant-yummy food, good service Living at the Arbor Delray is like living at a 5 star resort!

The Arbor at Delray is an independent and assisted living senior facility. When accompanying relatives in their search for a suitable independent living facility we visited a number of places. The Arbor stood out. It is a beautiful, well-kept and run place for seniors to enjoy. We met with Zusely Melendez, who patiently explained everything about the place and answered all questions and concerns. Everyone who works there has been helpful and kind. It is more than we could have hoped for.
