My father has been a resident of SC for almost two years. He was first in assisted living and then about six months in, my brother and I decided he needed to move to memory care. My overall experience with Sunscape has been very positive. Mostly due to some of the integral staff members that have been with us along the way. Lisa ( Activities Director) and Christine (Oversees the nurse/aid department) deserve special recognition. They are very accessible and respond quickly to any phone calls or text messages. Jay, the recently appointed General Manager, has impressed in his short time since joining the building. I highly recommend Sunscape if you are researching this decision for a loved one.

My mother has been here for 2 1/2 years now. She arrived a few months after the initial opening. There were some growing pains, plus as you would expect, she questioned her decision to move from her home to assisted living. A lot has matured since. She considers the staff her family, and tells me she could never leave this place. The staff check on her regularly. I've been there when they do so, and they treat her as family. Two months ago a new managing director was put in place, and he is already taking Sunscape to the next level. He has given me much of his time to discuss my mother's situation, to remedy concerns I had, and to discuss his plans. He is extremely knowledgeable, has some great ideas, and is already doing the work to bring his plans to fruition.

Sunscape is a wonderful home for mom. The community ensures safety and a quality lifestyle. They work well with families to ensure mom has happy days. Whenever I have questions or matters to discuss, the Executive Director and Wellness Director respond quickly regardless of time or day…..I really appreciate that!! Update 3/1/26….sadly had to move mom. Just really did not work out. Operations declined over the past year and the once attentive team, seemed to lose interest in the quality of life and care for their residents.
