When I first moved in I knew I was on the younger side. But I knew moving to Wyndemere was the best choice for me and age did not matter. I jumped in right away with a positive attitude and involved myself in different activities such as exercise classes, Bocce, Dominoes, Hand and Foot, Rummicube. I enjoy going on the outdoor trips like to the Opera, Chicago Symphony Orchestra and plays. I also started a Bible study group with another resident and met so many people I would not have met. People here are so friendly and welcoming. You can be as involved as you want to be.

After living in North Carolina for forty years and thinking I would eventually move to one of the very nice Life Care Communities near me. About a year ago I decided I would rather be near my family in Wheaton and southeast Wisconsin. My daughter has a friend whose parents were among the early residents (her father is still a resident) and had high praise for Wyndemere. Janet and I came for a visit and we both knew by the end of this visit that Wyndemere was where I wanted to live. And, I’ve enjoyed every day I have been here. All my expectations have been met!

I have been enjoying my life here at Wyndemere. Been here for 5 years now. I love being involved in Bocce ball, exercise classes, gardening, putting. And I also attend Ted Talks and history lectures. I have a beautiful apartment with a balcony. Couldn’t ask for more! Love it here.

Moving to Wyndemere has been the best decision at the most correct and perfect time for us. Everyone here is extremely helpful both residence and staff make living here very easy and very comfortable. Very kind people and attentive to all of our Needs. Done Need.
