The Woodmark at Uptown provides Assisted Living in Albuquerque and Memory Care in an elegant, comfortable atmosphere with personal care plans designed to meet all your needs. We offer Assisted Living lifestyles with two additional, specialized levels in our Memory Care: Early Dementia Care and Acute Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care.
Our experienced and caring team members gets to know our residents on more than a clinical level, learning each person’s likes, dislikes, and personality to create the fulfilling activities, meals, and service plans that will bring joy into each day. We are committed to providing the appropriate level of care that allows our residents to live life to the fullest, with assistance when they need it, and more independence when they don’t.

If you're in need of a deeply caring and professional memory care facility, Woodmark At Uptown is highly recommended by myself and my family. After a trip to the ER, an extensive hospital stay, and 20 days in a rehabilitation center, our only choice was to place Mom in a memory care facility. She had lost most of her walking ability, lost most of the weight she'd gained, and was severely depressed. None of us felt qualified to care for her at home. After several weeks of researching and visiting many centers, we were given Woodmark as a potential choice. Upon speaking to Julie Elison, the director, over the phone, I immediately contacted one of my brothers, and he visited the facility. Both of us felt very comfortable with every aspect involved in placing Mom in a center. After consulting with the rest of the family, we made the best decision we could have made for Mom! She spent exactly two months there and she made friends with all of the staff immediately! She did find a few friends within the center. Mom has become a bit of a loner. In these two months, she came back to life. She joined in the activities and started eating and sleeping better. She got well enough physically, that we brought her back home. She still has Alzheimers and that will continue to deteriorate, but she's even started making her own oatmeal and coffee in the morning, again. Woodmarks staff is extremely professional and caring. They get to know your loved one quickly and are so gentle with them. We were and still are 100% confident that she got the best care possible there at Woodmark. The facility itself is beautiful, the patios are a plus, the food is great, and the atmosphere is always positive.🍃🌿🌷

Charmaine and all the activity staff are just wonderful. They encourage all the residents (and visitors!) to participate and always have a smile on their faces. The Gala they put on this year was amazing. Such wonderful costumes! I hope to see more of this type of thing in the future!

We are the family of Lucy Trujillo it made you feel at ease to see her so happy . She mentioned she has never had so much fun. Charmaine and Noemi are so wonderful they had smiles and jokes had us all laughing our visit was great! Charmaine went above and beyond to make us feel at home and let us join in on the activities she is truly amazing . Thank you Charmaine for treating us so well.

I would like to recognize Charmaine responsible for activities at the Woodmark. My mom can’t speak highly enough of Ms. Charmaine. She is kind, considerate and according to my mom fun to be with. Charmaine and her thoughtful activities is a primary reason my mom enjoys the Woodmark. Steve Trujillo
