I have been at Morada Albuquerque aa a resident of the senior living facility since March 2025. It was hard getting used to the facility. My care is mostly good. One thing to consider, the food served is bad. Sometimes I either go hungry or call door dash. Food is included in rent., but it should be an option. Just my opinion.

My mother was moving from out of state and into her new apartment. She had an issue with her paperwork which prevented her from moving in right away. I contacted Erica and worked with her for one day. She went above and beyond to get my mother’s paperwork squared away so she could move in. They were kind and very supportive. I am confident that my mother will be cared for in her new home. I do know that my mother loves her new place and the choice she made to be there.

I looked up the price and it said they started at $2700 a month. The I kept reading and it said they start at $3400. So which is it? Anyway, my friend lives there and I haven’t heard from her in several days. She’s not answering her phone. I called the front desk and asked if someone could check on her. I called back 50 minutes later and they still haven’t checked. I just think they should have checked right away. Maybe I’m wrong. They have a roach problem. Most of the staff are very nice but a few are quite rude. I’m still waiting for a call back.

Great place for your loved one. I placed my brother here with Erica’s help. He was in the nursing home recovering from a burn he received at Presbyterian hospital. Erica was super supportive for helping me get him into the assisted living area. She kept in touch with me on a regular basis and made me feel comfortable during the transition. My brother has a very nice corner room with a great view and he loves it. Erica and Lindsay, director of the facility, worked tirelessly with me to make the arrangements. I live in Texas so they helped me to get my brother into a great place. He has a studio apartment with plenty of space for his belongings. He was so pleased to have his furniture around him. It’s very important to him that he is able to remain independent and everyone there encourages him to remain independent but they also make sure he is reminded of their availability. They check on him every 2 hours all throughout the night to make sure he is safe along with assisting him during the day when he needs help. He loves his caregivers. He loves the fact that he can have extra servings at meals. He has lost over 50 pounds from being bedridden in the hospital. He has a brain tumor so he’s unstable when he walks but none of the assistants hurry him they just stand by and make sure he doesn’t fall. They treat him like he’s the only person in the facility who needs help. Oscar and Alex are talking to him like he is an important friend. I love the extra attention they all give to each patient. Nikki and Val make sure he gets his medication on time and they keep the records updated. They are great nurses to manage so many patients and treat each one individually. Camille manages the front desk like a kind and caring general. She made sure that my brother received the correct wheelchair when it was delivered. I didn’t have to call the DME company to have them provide the right wheelchair. She called and corrected the issue. She and Erica kept me apprised of the situation when I returned to Texas so that I could know that my brother was being cared for and loved. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility. They truly care about every patient there. The residents have a beauty salon, library, movie theater, and attentive waiting staff in the dining room. You have given me peace of mind in a stressful situation. Thanks Morada for all you do to make the residents feel safe and happy
