Apparently I wrote a review that was taken the wrong way, I'm sorry for that. I've only been here a couples months and have nothing to complain about. Having said that...the tenants here are very polite yet friendly and helpful. Very quiet all the time, landscape is great and management is wonderful. Well lit at night, I've taken walks late at night, leave my front door open late and feel safe. Many planned activities and even a gate to go to the little mini mall. I think you would like it here.

Too many pests such as roaches, ants, rodents and other bugs structure of buildings getting bad. When people move out the new tenants have to clean their apartment before moving in a recent complaint. The manager is not approachable. Does not know how to communicate with senior citizens. Tenants try to avoid her and are afraid to complain because of possible retaliation. Landscaping is not like it use to be. Bushes are growing out of control in some areas growing on sidewalks. There are people moving out due to problems not being addressed. This is not a cozy peaceful place for seniors to live. Rent goes up each year by a large percentage and seniors complain about how to make ends meet due to that fact. People are not happy here. People reading this should consider a better place to live. Should look for a more caring peaceful place to live your senior age besides Vintage Oaks. Management is not good and caring nor understanding and no empathy. Was told by others tenants management would say if you do not like it then move out. So horrible. Think before you apply. They may be kind at first but look out. Not all cracked up like you think it is.

The Community Manager Yvonne was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, and made sure that I had what I needed to be placed on the waiting list. She even passed on alternative housing information for my interim wait until my choice at Vintage Oaks becomes available to me. Great experience so far!
