I've been blessed to be a part of this community as a vendor partner for several years. The community is beautiful. The staff is engaged with residents. There are many activities always available daily gor both inside and outside the community. Chef Nach is the latest addition to this community and the food is 5 star level now. It's a good place to be!!

I have been trying to reach the director Jennifer Evans of this facility for two weeks now I’ve left 5 phone calls. And hospice has left 8 calls and NO ONE will return calls. My mother is deceased now and I can’t even get the director to call me to make an exit strategy. She never returns phone calls ever. My only option is to go and sit at this facility and hope that sometime between eight and five somebody will talk to me. This is the worst facility for paperwork. There are two months behind and filing my paperwork so I’m having to come out of pocket for all of her monthly expense which as you know is thousands of dollars, the insurance won’t pay unless the facility provides the paperwork I’ve been struggling with this for two years but now that she’s deceased, I still have two months December in January that they haven’t even filed paperwork on I would never recommend you put your loved ones at this facility

Disappointed is a TRUE understatement... I have never seen such unprofessional behavior from the upper management.(This person was stepping in as director of the building because no one would work for her). We all know who this is without me putting her name out there. This is the same person that sat back and tried to brush a VERY MAJOR incident that happened to my family member under the rug. YES I said it... She told employees not to speak to myself or our family members. She also told residents not to speak to us. But yet she let this issue happen on her watch. She refused to come to the community the night of the incident when our family point blank asked her to be there. She said and I quote “ I will be there on the phone if needed”. She let the director of nursing try to handle the situation when he had only been there for 2 weeks. Pathetic is how he handled it and how the upper management handled this situation. When I finally had enough and called the actual owner of the building, she knew an incident had happened, but she did not know how bad the incident truly was. Another way for this Upper management person that was filling in as the Director of the building at the time to cover up what had happened. We were told by this same person that she couldn’t keep our loved one safe at this facility so it was best that we move her. She was right... They did not keep her safe.. Thank goodness for cameras in our loved ones room bc we have it all video of what the step in director (upper management) tried to cover up. It was very obvious what had happened bc female residents started moving out immediately.. If you truly care about your family member, PICK another place to put them. This place is absolutely horrible and did nothing good for our loved one. For anyone that does have your family member here at this facility still, put cameras in their room so you can watch happens to them, bc I promise you the person is still on the loose out there....... I sure hope that the state will step in and make this facility do some major changes.. Shame on the people that run this place and the people that were running this place when our loved one was there. If zero stars could be given, I would give zero stars...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Village at the Park Denton. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. The staff goes above and beyond every single day, not just meeting needs, but truly making residents feel valued and loved. The facility is always clean, bright, and welcoming, and the activities keep everyone engaged and smiling. Meals are delicious and chef Nach tailors to preferences.
