Jerry and Lauren Miller We moved into the Vi at the Glen, Glenview, Illinois from Leawood, Kansas. Prior to the move we were somewhat apprehensive because we didn’t know anyone who lived in the community. However, our move to the Vi exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we first visited, we were impressed by the beautiful campus, outstanding amenities, welcoming residents, and the genuine sense of community that makes Vi such a special place to call home. A major reason our transition was so successful was the exceptional assistance we received from from the sales and move-in staff. They were consummate professionals—knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and genuinely caring and guided us through every step of the decision-making process, answered countless questions, and made what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth and enjoyable. The entire Vi team has been welcoming, friendly, and committed to helping us enjoy an active, engaging, and worry-free lifestyle. We have already met many wonderful residents and are enjoying the wide variety of activities, dining options, and programs available. We could not be happier with our decision to join the Vi at The Glen community. I give Vi at the Glen 5 stars in every way. My husband and I moved here 5 years ago and have been very satisfied with everything about the Vi, including the Care Center where my husband spent the last 22months of his life. I have been a resident of the Vi at the Glen for almost 7 years. I have never been disappointed with my decision to move here! There is a strong sense of community & an abundance of thoughtfully curated activities. Health & wellness is the primary goal of the staff. They go above and beyond in an achieving this every day.

We aren't sure that we need to maintain our memberships at Chicago Botanical Garden because we are living in a Botanical Garden. The place is absolutely gorgeous. It is well maintained and the Housekeeping team is well trained and thoroughly enjoy their work and interaction with the residents. Once inside, it has a palatial feel to it the common areas are well appointed, tastefully so,. The residences, be they apartments or homes( call ed villas) are first rate and the staff spares no effort to accommodate your preferences for the interiors. The Dining areas are attractively laid out and the kitchen is first rate...we feel sometimes that we are on a cruise ship that never moves away from the dock. All of this goes to the Administration in their selection, hiring, and training of the people in the departments....They hire managers who empower their associates to handle every situation effortlessly. You can't please everybody all of the time, but it is clear that t it is their desire to do so. I sometimes wonder if there is some magic in the air with the resident community...everybody here has been welcoming and willing to assist...this has to be a reason we are all here and why newcomers are overwhelmed with the good vibe of the place. The Staff sees to it that a variety of interests are well served with opportunities to participate in sports, games, music, dancing, acting, art, physical training, swimming, reading, trips to entertainment venues....it is never ending and fulfilling of a retirees dream. If you can't find it here, it isn't worth worrying about.
