We moved to the Vi in Glenview, IL seven weeks ago. The minute we walked in the front door we were impressed by the light and openness of the lobby. We were greeted by the staff with happy faces. Our first instinct was correct as soon as we moved in. The Vi was so helpful with helping arrange everything. The staff in every department are so helpful and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. So happy we chose the Vi and highly recommend it!

We had the pleasure of touring Vi at The Glen, and what a beautiful community! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere, elegant surroundings, and attention to detail throughout the community. Residents can enjoy an incredible variety of programs, activities, and opportunities to stay active, engaged, and connected. James, the Activities Director, is amazing! His enthusiasm is contagious, and he has so many creative ideas for bringing residents together and making each day meaningful and enjoyable. We were also very impressed by the outstanding restaurant menus. The variety and quality of the dining options truly make every meal feel like a special experience. Thank you, James, for taking the time to show us around and share everything that makes Vi at The Glen such a special place to call home!

I have lived here 18+ years. Probably one of the best decisions I ever made. It is the friendliest place I have ever been to. There are more things to do here than I thought possible. Everyone in friendly and helpful. The staff knows your name on day 2. Residents say hello even if they don’t yet know you. What could be better!

My husband and I have been here 71\2 years. Every category gets 5 stars. Staff…from administration all the way down…they are superlative-friendly, knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful. Our welfare and comfort is their main priority. Food…the best. Friends and family love coming here for dinner. Selection is excellent- multiple choices across the board-super kitchen and wait staff to boot. Activities…exercise classes daily, aquacize, cards, book clubs, guest speakers, musical performances, outings, walking beautiful grounds, a memoir group, art studio, bocci ball, super library donation dependent. You name it and it’s all your choice. Friendships…have developed lots of new friends. Funny how many “small world“connections pop up. Having dinner with friends old and new is a special part of the day. Housing…units are amazing and range from one and two bedroom variations covering a spectrum of floor plans. I know it sounds like all these superlatives are BS, but I assure you they are not. We feel very blesses to live here. And what a great long term gift to our kids. The decision has been ours, not theirs.
