Arbor Terrace Glenview

I recently visited Arbor Terrace Glenview and was genuinely so impressed by the warmth, creativity, and intentionality of the community. What stood out most to me was the Bridges program run by Rin. You can authentically feel the care, thought, and effort that goes into creating meaningful experiences for residents. The décor, designs, and activities are beautifully executed, and the crafts are especially refreshing—they feel creative, engaging, and dignified rather than overly simplistic or childlike, which I’ve noticed at some other communities. The new director, Gauri, has brought such a strong sense of organization, proactivity, and thoughtful structure to the program. Her leadership is evident in how polished and well-planned everything feels. She has made the visitor experience incredibly welcoming and easy to engage with, especially when it comes to creating meaningful one-on-one moments with residents. I also want to recognize Kendra in Evergreen (memory care). She brings such wonderful energy to the space—it feels vibrant, warm, and inviting. You can tell she puts real heart into making her residents feel comfortable, engaged, and cared for. Equally deserving of recognition is the compassionate care team who make the day-to-day experience for residents feel safe, supported, and genuinely human. From the nursing staff to the resident assistants, med techs, and caregivers, there is a clear attentiveness and kindness in the way residents are supported. It’s often the quieter, behind-the-scenes moments that say the most—staff taking time to check in, offering comfort, responding patiently, and treating residents with dignity and respect. That level of compassionate care does not go unnoticed. What I love most is the opportunity to spend genuine quality time building relationships, creating deep connections, and making each visit feel special. These are the kinds of moments that remind you how important human connection is and how much of a difference thoughtful programming can make. Arbor Terrace Glenview has clearly built a culture where residents are treated with dignity, creativity, compassion, and heartfelt attentiveness—and that truly shines through.

I would like to recognize Joyce for the incredible job she does at the front desk. From the moment you walk through the doors, Joyce greets everyone with a warm smile and somehow remembers every resident, family member, and visitor by name. That personal touch means more than she probably realizes. Going through this journey with my dear friend has been one of the most difficult experiences in my life, and Joyce has helped make a very hard situation a little easier. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine caring nature have provided comfort on days when it was needed most. Employees like Joyce are truly special. She is an incredible asset to your assisted living community, and I hope she knows how much she is appreciated. Thank you, Joyce for making such a positive difference in the lives of so many people. My Mother-in-law lives at Arbor Terrace and is 102! She get so much care, not just physical but also emotional and general well being and happiness. I would like to call out the activities coordinator Roxy, 2 daily care givers: Lala and Ngozi and the amazing engagement Director Gauri. Gauri makes our visits amazing when we have little gatherings, and goes way above and beyond! Highly recommend this facility

I recently visited my friend yesterday who resides at Arbor Terrace Glenview, and I was truly impressed by the warm and welcoming environment. It was wonderful to see my friend so happy, engaged, and actively participating in the thoughtfully planned daily activities. She shared how much she appreciates the care and attention she receives from the team. I was especially impressed to learn that the Engagement Director personally connects with residents during breakfast each morning, encouraging them to participate in the day’s programs and helping them feel involved and valued. Seeing my friend so cheerful and thriving gave me great peace of mind. The entire community felt vibrant and caring, with staff members who appeared genuinely dedicated and motivated. I also noticed the Executive Director making rounds and ensuring that residents’ needs were being met and that everything was running smoothly. Arbor Terrace Glenview truly feels like a place where residents are cared for with compassion, respect, and attention. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and engaging community for their loved one.
