After aortic root open heart surgery, my husband had to have physical therapy to be able to walk up the three flights of stairs to our apartment. We chose Triple Creek Retirement Community, and we are glad we did. Thanks to Linda and the other physical therapists, received excellent physical therapy and was able to reach his goal of walking up those 3 flights of stairs in three weeks. Also, Mia, Shameka and all of the nurses went above and beyond the call of duty in caring for him. Erin, Tracey and Maddy in dietary prepared fresh wholesome meals and soup every day that aided in his recovery. Triple Creek also has a great administrator Kathryn who was very kind and caring to all the patients. The social worker at Triple Creek Retirement provided a seamless transition for his return home. He was discharged late Friday evening, but by Saturday morning at 9am he was getting physical therapy from his home. We are so thankful and grateful for all the staff and administration at Triple Creek for helping my husband to have success on his road to recovery from open heart surgery.

Our recent experience with the care at this facility was deplorable. Patient was admitted here for rehab of a broken leg. Patient is fully competent and clear, normally able to live on their own and maintain their home and pet care. That was never acknowledged at this facility. The patient was forced to wear a diaper because we were told they did not have enough staff to get them up and to the restroom on demand. Diapers were not changed when patient requested and when on site as family/advocate I had staff argue with me about changing the patient because there was not fecal matter in the diaper it was "only wet". Patient would press call button and they would come and turn it off without addressing her needs. Staff was overheard stating that they wouldn't respond to her call button and "eventually she would get the message" Family was present regularly to witness behavior of staff and confirm lack of response to the call button, often exceeding 30 minutes. When calling to check in on the patient, we were often hung up on or "disconnected" repeatedly, especially on the weekend nught shifts. Ended up reporting to the ombudsman, state department of health and their corporate offices and installed a camera in the patient's room. Meal orders taken were not honored, repeatedly served seafood after being informed the patient cannot have fish. When requested a PBJ sandwich instead of fish, was informed the kitchen was closed. Another night patient did not receive dinner at all and when she inquired about it, they told her she ate dinner but just forgot she had eaten already. Ultimately had to have patient transported to the hospital for care of contracted pneumonia as this facility failed to provide the prescribed breathing treatments for the patient for over 12 hours. Hospital was appalled when we transported the patient to see her condition and hear of her treatment. PLEASE do not send your family members here, and if you have no other choice, install a camera from the start.

We have had my mom there twice. Once for rehab and then she went between nursing and assisted living until her passing. Triple Creek was great with her! We had my dad there too. He went from independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing units until he passed this year. He has gotten great care all the way to his end. My one grandma was in assisted living and passed there. She had great as well. My other grandmother is currently there and she’s in excellent care. I know the nurse will call me if there’s any issues or change in my grandma’s health or if she’s acting different and possibly has a UTI. They always go above and beyond. All 4 of my family members have been there for some if not all of the last five years and I wouldn’t have them go to any other place! The activity staff is amazing! They have something planned almost every day! From movies, bingo, making desserts, things to share, decorating/drawing things and go on outings to restaurants or store for something fun. They also have a brunch for families to come and eat with their loved one once a month. They have fundraisers to help the less fortunate and have several family gatherings throughout the year. They have a Christmas gathering, Thanksgiving meal with family and have a trick or treat night so the residents can enjoy kids of their family members and children of the staff as well! I truly can’t think of a reason I would not send a family member there! It’s not super close to my house but wouldn’t move my grandma anywhere else. They are able to handle hospice care and have family involved in as much as they want. When my grandma and dad passed they did everything they could to help with end of life care. They had my grandma out and about keeping her busy after my dad (her son) had passed. They really have made transitioning family members to a nursing home and in their passing as easy and smooth as possible. I’m grateful to have the nurses, aides and activity staff support! When I walk in the say hello and call me by name. They have new furniture all throughout and have recently painted all the walls. They are always cleaning, vacuuming or working on some area to make it better. When you walk in it doesn’t smell like a nursing home. They are all the best!

We had a great experience when my husbands mother had fallen at home and broke 5 ribs the hospital placed her at TC for rehab and she loved it there and the staff was great!! It’s quite a thankless job these nurses and staff do and I’m just leaving this review to let them know we appreciated everything you did for my MIL while she was in your care. We have regrettably lost her since this time, but I am happy she was taken care of and happy. Thank you, Triple Creek!
