My grandpa had to do a short rehab stay at Thornton Terrace after he had his pacemaker put in. When visiting in the evenings, the staff were attentive and made sure he was comfortable. The rehab staff worked with him daily on getting him back on his feet and ready to head back home. He has nothing but good things to say about his two weeks here.

I like to compliment a CNA that works in the Dementia area of the home. Her name is Katelyn. My Mother has been there a little over a year. Katelyn does an excellent job in caring for the residents there. It's not just a job to her, Katelyn's heart is genuine. Her heart is into it. I've been coming there over a year, I observed a lot in a years time. I think Katelyn is an excellent CNA, she will make a very Promising Nurse. She's #1 in my book. I wish there were more CNA's like her in All Health Care/Nursing Home facilities.

They will smile in your face and stab you in the back! Make sure you get an inventory list of what your loved one went into the facility with. My mother was in the facility during Covid and we were not able to see her. After her passing, her ring and earrings were missing. All of a sudden, they could not find the inventory list that they said was completed at admission. They always seemed they had something to hide. It is a shame that staff are that desperate to take jewelry off of a dying human. I would never trust this place and this includes management staff.

There is so much I could share about this horrible place as my father has been here since February of 2014. Most recently they have allowed him to fall out of bed a half dozen times because they refuse to allow the handrail to be on his bed that he has used to get in and out of bed for years. He was taken by ambulance to KDH after 1 fall and I had to take him to the VA hospital after a second fall. The VA physician said they are wrong to deny him a mobility device and the Indiana Dept of Health concurred stating they didn’t assess my father properly and would send a state official to do so. Bed rails are no longer allowed on beds but a mobility device is not a bed rail and thus allowed if assessed to need one. Thornton Terrace has done nothing to resolve this problem and my 86 year old father ends up on the floor often. The solution the nurse gave my father to not fall out of bed was to just stay in it. She advised him to wear depends at night and relieve himself in bed and they would just clean him up in the morning. My father is not incontinent and hates depends. So instead of assessing his needs they just want him to be immobile and lay in filth. I would suggest taking a tour of the Jewel House if you want a proactive staff. They will make sure your loved one has what they need. They addressed the mobility issue immediately and came up with a solution. Thornton Terrace has done nothing. Needless to say we are moving him to the Jewel House soon. Thornton Terrace administration is fake. They act overly nice to appease you, tell to you they will take care of issues but they rarely do. They make their overwhelmed staff do more with less so they can pad their pockets with more money. Like I said I could say so much more but don’t have the time to do so as I need to head to Thornton Terrace to make sure my father isn’t on the floor.
