I am extremely disappointed with The Woodlake Senior Living regarding a $3,500 deposit I paid. On June 13, I submitted a formal refund request via email, following instructions provided by a staff member named Steve, who stated the refund would be processed within 30 days. Since then, I have followed up multiple times. I sent emails on June 30, July 17, and July 21, and I also called the facility several times. Despite these efforts, I have received no refund and no meaningful update. It has now exceeded the promised timeframe. If this facility is unable or unwilling to process a simple refund, how can I trust them to provide proper care for my grandmother or any other loved one? At this point, I am left wondering whether this is simply poor management or a deliberate attempt to keep my money. Either way, it raises serious concerns about their integrity and business practices. I hope this review prompts leadership to take action and resolve this issue immediately.

The Woodlake Assistant Living Facility is an excellent facility. I had to place my mother and my aunt in memory care for the last couple of years of their lives together. The staff are very professional, dedicated, and caring. I was very comfortable in leaving my loved ones there knowing they would be very well taken care of. I visited often, different days, hours of the day and night. I got to see the staff in action carrying for my loved ones and other residents during meal times, and activity time. From the front desk to the chef are all amazing as well. The facility is nice and clean. It is well kept up. They are truly the best. I was grateful we chose The Woodlake. I recommend The Woodlake to anyone who may have to place their loved one in an Assistant Facility.

My mom has been at The Woodlake in their memory care which is called Opal for almost two years now. She has been so well cared for by the staff there. They are very caring and very skilled at their job. They keep the residents active and entertained while giving them a very loving/family environment. They communicate well with me in regards to her needs and well being. I feel like they are family to us. The Woodlake is clean and well decorated with plenty of staff. They provide delicious dining choices. This is not our first memory care for mom but it sure has been the best.

My mother was one of the early residents at The a Woodlake when they opened in 2020. She loves the friends she’s made there, the activities they have and the staff that go above and beyond every day. The facility and rooms are beautiful, like a nice hotel. The kitchen staff create a generous menu - I particularly like the breakfasts! I have stayed in various guest suites over the past 3 years as I live out of state and it’s so convenient to be onsite to have meals with her friends and take part in the nightly Scrabble and poker games! Additionally, there is a large Kaiser Medical facility within 5 minutes near Cal Expo and they’ll help coordinate Lyft rides. They have weekly shopping trips and occasional movie outings. She’s been very happy at The Woodlake, and that’s the most important thing.
