My Mom moved into Oakmont a little over a year ago. The staff and management have been great to work with and very helpful. The facility is beautiful ,maintained very well, and the rooms are well appointed. There are a lot of activities for the residents. I really appreciate that they take the residents shopping and to their medical appointments Oakmont is very accommodating and encouraging to the families. Overall, I would say that Oakmont is an excellent assisted living facility.

A dear friend was a resident at Oakmont of East Sacramento from September 2023 through November 2024, when he moved out of California to live near his immediate family. We had health care power of atty for Jack (not his real name) and visited him often. Jack has Alzheimer’s and resided in the secure memory care wing of Oakmont. The care, attention and support he received from Oakmont staff were exceptional. Staff at all levels understood the unique needs of dementia sufferers and made Jack feel cared for, respected and valued. He was never talked down to or ignored, as we have seen happen in other facilities. His medications were carefully monitored and administered, his grooming and hygiene were well maintained (there is an in-house salon), his special needs and all our requests were honored. As the people ultimately responsible for Jack’s well-being, we were kept fully informed of his status and made to feel part of the Oakmont family. I doubt one could find a more caring or dedicated memory care staff anywhere in the Sacramento area. The facility itself is beautiful and sparkling clean, the food nutritious and delicious, and the atmosphere cheerful and orderly.

We moved my parents into Oakmont of East Sacramento around a year ago, and I've been very happy with their care. The staff has been attentive and my parents enjoy the food. Oakmont has been great with reaching out to me anytime anything comes up with my parents. I highly recommend Oakmont if you are looking for a senior living community.

My husbands 9 month stay at Oakmont of East Sacramento began with our amazing sales person Amelia Darlin. The staff were always professional and compassionate. They were very aware of each resident’s individual needs and successful in getting my shy husband to participate in a wide selection of activities. The communication was excellent which created sense a community that really cared. They have respect for their residents and encourage them to live their lives to the fullest. Unfortunately, my husband’s Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s was very aggressive and he passed away recently. I can’t say enough for everyone there, too many to mention, that helped to make my husband’s end of life the best it could be.
