We moved my MIL into The Waterford at Ironbridge last month. This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are so wonderful, very involved with the residents. The offer a wide variety of activities on a daily basis. The facility is up to date, clean and smells wonderful. The food is amazing, they welcome family to join their loved ones for meals. They do a candlelight dinner once a month for their residents, you get dressed up and it feel like you are in a fancy hotel. This is a picture of candlelight dinner from this month. If you are looking to place your loved one, contact Emily and schedule a tour. Thank you to all the staff for caring so much!

I visited for the 4th of July for their family event. It was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The food was great. I look forward to the next time.

These people are absolutely amazing! Every department is so kind from the front desk, activities, kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping even transportation 10 out of 10!

Waterford overall is a great place. Mom has a apartment that is a perfect size for her and her dog. I so appreciate that the residents can have a pet, which is good. Those pets are like their best friend. There are activities for the residents. Different performers come in and entertain the residents. The food has gotten better since she has been at Waterford. I realize that you can't please everyone, but overall the current cooks are getting better reviews. It always looks and smells so clean and fresh. The staff are friendly. The only negative comment I have is about the cost to stay at Waterford. Most of the residents are on fixed incomes. When each year the rent increases it makes it difficult to almost impossible for some residents to afford to stay. I realize the costs are high for everyone these days, but these senior citizens who pay faithfully each month should be given a break. Not everything in life should be about the almighty dollar. I do want to mention that Waterford is one of the more affordable independent living facilities in Springfield Missouri. Overall I am pleased that my precious mother is staying in a good place.
