My husband & I would just like to express how much we appreciate the kindness we were shown from a group of employees from this establishment today during lunch. We chose to eat a Hinode for lunch & my three year old was having a bit of a breakdown from the overwhelming environment. The rest of the group we were sharing a table with was appearing to be celebrating the birthdays of a few of their employees. Rather than getting frustrated with a crying toddler, a man from the group whom I believe to be named Carl, went to his vehicle & brought back 2 ducks & a little Jesus for him to play with. I can’t remember the exact wording, but he said something a long the lines of “Everyone needs a little Jesus.” He couldn’t be more right. It had been a very hectic week for my family on top of having a medical procedure done that day so my emotions were on edge & I was growing anxious by the second the more my child whined out of fear the rest of the table would get frustrated. I don’t think he realized how much that little act of kindness & saying such a simple but true statement lifted such a huge weight off of us at lunch but also affected the rest of our day. My toddler interacted with a few other ladies at the table & never once made a fuss that a little kid was playing under their feet to hide from the sensory overload of the restaurant. I also heard what I’m assuming is their team lead or manager praise them as a group for the work they do & I wanted to comment how much I respected her for that. So many employees feel undervalued & under appreciated regularly so I enjoyed hearing that praise for your employees/coworkers. Overall, it was a reminder of the work God does in this world even when we aren’t realizing how much we need that interaction from one of his faithful servants. I can’t speak on the establishment in a way that I haven’t experienced but in reference to their employees, they are visibly a group of respectful, kind, considerate people & I have zero doubts in their ability to perform their duties in regards to their workplace to their highest capacity with full compassion. 🫶🏼

My dad has had excellent care while at Cedarhurst. Everyone is well trained, cheerful and compassionate. The residents are treated with respect and dignity. And I love how the staff interacts with both the residents and visitors. Dad loves the food and his room is always clean. Memory care is difficult, but Cedarhurst is the best.

We needed to find a place for my dad after he had an elopement at the facility where he resided. Turns out it’s hard to find a place that will accept men. Julie at CedarHurst made everything as easy as possible to make the transition. Marda is helpful with my requests. Very friendly and homey vibe. Food is good and staff attentive. Lots of activities. I think it’s a pretty good place so far.
