We have been blown away with the amazing experience we have had at the Stratford. It began with our mother needing to be in the full care area. Unfortunately, it was a short stay and her time on earth was finished. But those few weeks were a wonderful experience of care, concern, and even one above and beyond experience from a senior staff member. We had an excellent experience during a very hard and sad time for our family. Afterward, her husband and our father needed a new place to live. He moved into an independent apartment and again, we have had an excellent experience. All of the staff made the transition so easy and welcomed him in with open arms. Stephanie was amazing during the move in process and guided us through every small detail. She went above the call of duty to introduce him around and try to get him connected with other residents. We have not found a downside to The Stratford yet. The entire staff has been fabulous and friendly. We have been very impressed with the activities available, the food served, and the ease of this complete change of life. We so appreciate The Stratford and look forward to experiencing all of the seasons for the first time!

During my nearly 12 years of residency at The Stratford, numerous excellent experiences occurred. One that was deeply meaningful was because my wife had Parkinson’s. Because there were others with the same issue, our Director of Wellness, Heather, created our exercise group specifically for our Parkinson’s residents. My wife absolutely loved being there. It gave me great joy as well and helped with her mobility greatly. I am forever grateful for that class and what it gave to her life!

The Stratford was the perfect place for my MIL. She started out living in the beautiful cottages in independent living and when she kept falling, she transferred to assisted living in the main building. We couldn't have been more pleased with the care she received there. The staff went above and beyond in answering our questions, reacting to concerns, being approachable & reachable, & treating her like one of their own family members. She made many friends there. She was able to visit a doctor, as well as occ. & physical therapy in the facility, as needed. My husband & I highly recommend the Stratford. A big shout out to Brad, the administrator, & Jodi, the social worker. They are truly the BEST in ALL of Indy!

I want to highly commend the “fun squad” at the Stratford. Marissa, Michele, and Stephanie. From water balloon fights, museum trips, ice cream socials, Indian baseball games, and a tricycle mini 500 in the lobby area - these fine ladies provide a loving, creative, and entertaining environment for my mom and the other assisted living patrons. Such caring entertaining events are truly appreciated by my mother and myself. You get an A+++ in my book. Keep it up.
