The Park at University Village

My father was a resident at the Park for about a year before his condition necessitated a move to the adjoining assisted living part. He loved his time at the Park. There were so many options for activities to keep his mind occupied including lectures at the nearby university and cultural field trips. He especially enjoyed the exercise classes and the book club. It is a beautiful, well maintained facility filled with friendly, caring people. I can't say enough good things about the place and staff. I'm really happy that we found such a good place for him.

As a local realtor, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside David Richardson and his team at University Village when I was helping my clients transition into University Village! The dining experience is amazing and their service comparable to a fine dining restaurant. I’ve noticed that the waiters and waitresses always remember the residents favorite food. Incredibly impressive David is resourceful, responsive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure my clients feel confident in their decision. David and University village hospitality is wonderful and David’s care throughout the entire process of moving in is seamless. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend asking to get a tour with David if you or a loved one is considering a move to University Village.

I've been blown away at how nice The Park is and how active the community is. This is not a sleepy retirement community. Residents here are doing fitness classes, going to plays, starting clubs, doing water aerobics, traveling around the northwest, and from what I can tell, making lots and lots of friends. Grateful to have the Park in this part of Vancouver, there's nothing really comparable in the area.

I was a recent guest at the Parks. It was under unfortunate circumstances as my parents had just become residents of this extraordinary community and both passed not long after they moved in. My brother and sister-in-law had looked in great detail and with tremendous care, to find the ideal spot. They were moving my folks from Cincinnati to Vancouver so they would be close to family and have a good support network. Everyone at the Parks were so very kind and genuine. The facility was exceptional. I would encourage anyone looking for the finest care and attention for a parent, to consider, what I believe, to be at the top of any other facility/community available.
