The Monarch at Henderson

I found in October 2025 The Monarch of Henderson. I had a very personal/emotionally releasing interview with Managing Facility Professionals of what I was in need of, to safe guard my then 90 year old mother with diagnosed Dementia/Alzheimer. I immediately felt heard and validated. Took the tour of the entire facility and selected a private unit for my mom. Four of the Managing Facility Professionals came to our home to meet my mother. It was a joy to see my mother interact so freely with each of them. The Monarch of Henderson accepted my mother and we accepted them for a Residential Memory Care Home. The facility offers everything I could think of on site: all meals, laundry service, medical professions to include podiatrist, primary care, medication distribution, daily vitals, beauty salon. My mom's unit is personalized with her own furnishings. The planned field trips and weekly In House Entertainment is Above & Beyond. Every holiday, every birthday is recognized in a festive way.

When choosing a memory care for my dad, I visited many places and I knew the Monarch was the right fit for him. The staff truly cares about the residents and treats them like family, they keep the residents engaged. My dad enjoys the activities, entertainment and feels safe and happy, he is thriving in this environment. The director, Jane, is compassionate and cares about the residents, which shows. Jane and her staff are quickly available to assist and help with any concerns that may arise, which gives me the comfort and confidence to know they have his best interest at heart.

My husband adores his care partners at the Monarch at Henderson. Gwen, MoMo, Mua and Lotis, just to name a few, are so compassionate and caring in attending to his needs, and their love and concern for him is obvious. The Med Techs here do much more than administer medications. They also administer care and keep me informed of questions or concerns about his health. The administration is very hands on and responsive to all communications. They offer a family meeting and a support group every month to help us on this difficult journey. The facility itself is bright, cheerful and clean and there are activities and occasional field trips for the residents. We are very pleased with our stay at the Monarch.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Monarch, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about them. From Victoria and Christine to Jane and Lily, every member of the team consistently demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and genuine care for the residents they serve. Their dedication to creating a warm, supportive environment is evident in everything they do. I would wholeheartedly trust the entire Monarch team to care for my own loved one, and that is the highest recommendation I can give. Thank you for the exceptional work you do every day!
