The Inn at Olentangy Trail

My loved one moved here about 6 months ago and loves it! The staff are super friendly and caring & very responsive to her needs. The facility is very clean and well taken care of. She loves the food. The nursing staff are very good at communicating with regards to her care. They have a wonderful activities director and lots of things to keep residents engaged. I can’t think of anything negative to say about The Inn at Olentangy.

Overall I’m pleased with my mom’s care. Nurses and aides appear to be attentive and knowledgeable of her needs. They communicate concerns in a timely manner. I would say the meals are average compared to home cooking but no comparison to other facilities she’s been in for rehab. She has a good number of choices and she has no complaints with meals (which is really saying a lot). They look well prepared. Servers are young people and I see many residents love interacting with them. I like the way the facility is decorated for each holiday/season. I would say the only area where I would wish for better is room upkeep. The floor might need to be vacuumed more often but that’s so minor when you compare the problems in other places. There are a lot of activities for residents (although I don’t know how often my mom participates in group activities/outings). I do always love watching how the staff in general interacts with residents. It was the first thing I noticed when visiting each of the Inns. I would not choose any other place for the care and keeping of my mom. Thank you to all!

The Inn, as we call it, has been absolutely fantastic with our mother who is suffering from dementia. They are so understanding of her needs and reach out to us with updates or needs that she may have in her care. Additionally, they were instrumental in helping with the Medicaid process. It is a very difficult navigation, and they were so kind to help us along. I highly recommend this beautiful facility. It is always clean and smells fresh. They have wonderful activities to engage the community. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. I am so thankful that we found the Inn.

My parents have been at The Inn at Olentangy Trail for about a year now, one in assisted living and the other in memory care, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care they receive. The staff is consistently kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the well‑being of their residents. Some will go out of their way to help. They take the time to get to know my parents as individuals, not just as people who need support, and that makes all the difference. Both of my parents have settled in well and truly like living there. It gives our family real peace of mind knowing they’re in a place where people care about them.
