The Inn at Olentangy Trail

Every time I visit my mom I am thankful that she's living in a place with kind and caring staff at every level. From the office staff to the nursing caregivers and activities team to the laundry and house keeping to building maintenance and even the kitchen staff they demonstrate a desire to add joy and meaningfullness to the resident's lives. They have come along beside me and held me up during a challenging season for me of my parents' lives and the loss of my father.There is a sweet spirit you can feel when you're here and I'm so thankful that my parents could be a part of this community.

Overall I’m pleased with my mom’s care. Nurses and aides appear to be attentive and knowledgeable of her needs. They communicate concerns in a timely manner. I would say the meals are average compared to home cooking but no comparison to other facilities she’s been in for rehab. She has a good number of choices and she has no complaints with meals (which is really saying a lot). They look well prepared. Servers are young people and I see many residents love interacting with them. I like the way the facility is decorated for each holiday/season. I would say the only area where I would wish for better is room upkeep. The floor might need to be vacuumed more often but that’s so minor when you compare the problems in other places. There are a lot of activities for residents (although I don’t know how often my mom participates in group activities/outings). I do always love watching how the staff in general interacts with residents. It was the first thing I noticed when visiting each of the Inns. I would not choose any other place for the care and keeping of my mom. Thank you to all!

My loved one moved here about 6 months ago and loves it! The staff are super friendly and caring & very responsive to her needs. The facility is very clean and well taken care of. She loves the food. The nursing staff are very good at communicating with regards to her care. They have a wonderful activities director and lots of things to keep residents engaged. I can’t think of anything negative to say about The Inn at Olentangy.

Such a wonderful place! Recently moved my mother here. She’s received such quality care from the friendly staff. She’s enjoying the sense of community that was missing from other places. The place is beautiful too! Great value for the money! I highly recommend!
