Five years ago, we moved my husband‘s mother, (my mother-in-law) Into The Avalon of Lewis Center. It was one of the best moves we could have made for her. Not only was the staff amazing, attentive and friendly, but they made her feel so at home in her new surroundings and took such great care of her. She was there for five years and we never had anything but good things to say. The staff is better than any facility I have been to and or visited. We had such a great experience that when the time came, we also moved my mother to Avalon. She is so happy there and loves her apartment and the fact that she can bring her own belongings. The food is great, it is immaculately clean, and there are so many activities and experiences for the residents to enjoy. I wouldn’t hesitate to send anyone to Avalon.

Incredibly caring and helpful staff. A diverse offering of social activities, including weekly trips to the grocery store, games, lunch outings, tailgate parties, music, and happy hours. There’s a rotation of unique outings based upon the season, whether it’s a farm market or a holiday activity. There are plenty of options every day for the residents to pick and choose their favorites. The staff maintains a positive attitude and clearly understands each individual, both in terms of their personalities and specific needs. Each resident has their laundry done twice a week and the room cleaned on a weekly basis. The nursing staff follows up regularly and the support system includes occupational, physical and speech therapy.

Moved my Aunt and Uncle into Avalon in early January. They were very apprehensive but the entire staff made them feel welcome from day one. Four months later I was listening to them have a conversation with one of my in-laws and the called the place home! I think that says it all right there! Great staff, great facilities, and more reasonably priced that other facilities we visited. Highly recommended!👍🏻

Our family members have been at Avalon for 5 months and we are very pleased. The staff is so friendly and personable. They have all sorts of activities and outings. The staff has been so engaged with us and attentive to our loved ones. We would recommend Avalon to others.
