Stratford Court of Boca Pointe

We have had a wonderful experience working with Julie Cruz, Director of Sales, and her colleagues at Sunrise Senior Living at Stratford Court at Boca Pointe. From the very beginning, Julie and the team have been warm, welcoming, attentive, and incredibly responsive. They have taken the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and promptly, making what can be a difficult and emotional process of finding the right community for our parents feel so much easier. We are very excited to have my parents join the Stratford Court community and feel confident knowing they will be in such a caring and welcoming environment. A sincere thank you to Julie and the entire team for making this experience so positive. We are truly looking forward to this next chapter with Stratford Court!

I have recently moved my 87 yr old mother into Stratford Court Independant Living and she is very happy. This is such a great senior community with daily activities (great job Curtis). I would like to mention that this move was very overwhelming but the sales associate Tara Cohen made this process so easy. She understood all my concerns about the move and made my mom and I feel more comfortable and confident about our very big life changing decision. Ask for Tara if you decide to go on a tour she is truly exceptional at what she does ( and I really mean that)!

My name is Philip Klipstein, and I recently had my first visit to Stratford Court of Boca Pointe, where my in-laws, Elaine and Hank Kleinman, have been living for just over a year. I had heard good things from them, but seeing it firsthand made a real impression. What stood out immediately was the sense of energy and community. This isn’t just a place to live—it’s a place where people genuinely engage. My mother-in-law is now happily involved in a Yiddish club as well as resident committees (she had spent many years in local politics), and my father-in-law has taken part in a resident-written musical, which says a lot about the creativity and opportunities available here. The staff play a big role in making that happen. General Manager PJ Petrovic sets a tone that is both professional and welcoming. The amazing Curtis Sawyer, who oversees events, clearly puts a great deal of thought into creating a varied and lively program—there always seemed to be something interesting going on. I also want to mention Morgan Cone, Director of Resident Services, who made our stay in the guest apartment smooth and comfortable; her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Overall, my visit left me with a strong sense that Stratford Court is a place where residents can stay active, connected, and fulfilled. It was reassuring to see my in-laws so well settled and genuinely enjoying their lives there.

I recently moved my parents from New York to South Florida and put them in assisted living at Stratford Court of Boca Pointe. I have to say that my experience has been just wonderful. From the Sales process with Julie Cruz to the actual move-in. The team was very attentive and caring. While my parents were in an assisted living facility with the same company, per se (Sunrise), the experience here in Boca Raton has been night and day. The level of service and attention has been top notch, and please know that I come from luxury hospitality (worked at Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental). Let me just discuss a few highlights. On move-in, I flew my parents from Bronxville, N.Y. to West Palm. Julie in sales texted me to inquire about my ETA, so we were in communication. Upon arrival, the team welcomed us with open warm arms and escorted us to my parents’ room. The room, which I had visited and selected with my wife a month prior, looked as if it underwent a renovation. It looked nothing like the room we visited. Belinda and her team made it feel as if the room came off of an episode of one of those HGTV home renovation shows. The room looked stunning. Absolutely beautiful. No detail was left out. As the door opened and my mother strolled in, I could see her eyes open in excitement. She was happy. Very happy. This in turn, made me extremely happy. We want the best for our parents and these transitions can be tough. Minutes after arriving in her room, Chef Brian, Belinda, and Lise walked in to welcome us and introduce themselves. It was so lovely for my mother to have the one-on-one conversation with Chef. She often complains about food being too salty. I have not heard one single word about salty food in her first week at Stratford. In fact, I have heard other sound bites. - This is the first time I have a hot cup of coffee - The food is actually hot - Oh, they have fish on the menu every day. I love fish! - I like the egg rolls. Your father and I eat them every day as our starter The little things…that may seem like nothing to anyone else made a big impact for my mom. Such as… - Having her room key ready for her on day 1. At her last location, she waited a month - Her pendant. She requested one and never had it. This gave her a sense of security and feeling safe that she can push it and have someone attend to her. - Day 2 she woke up feeling a little nauseous and rang her pendant. She told me someone came right away. I see my father sleep through the night now. He was waking up every 1-2 hours. My parents look forward to their meals. We can be out shopping or running an errand, and they want to be back in time to eat. They will not miss a meal. The team has been loving and caring. I, myself, experienced the longest night of sleep and recovery since they entered Stratford. Thank you, all! You guys hit it out of the park. Made me feel like moving in, myself 😉.
