Sunrise of Silver Spring

Almost seven months ago , we chose this facility for my father. Our sales representative was honest, open and delivered exactly on point as to the level of services and care they provided my Dad. They gave my father dignity, respect and the very best care which allowed for a peaceful transition into heaven. Not only do they take care of their residents but they take care of us family members. This is a safe, clean and positive environment for your loved one to have. There is a specialized memory care floor. The dining hall is fancy. The facility is well maintained, clean and inviting. They arrange hospice care. Our father truly admired and cared for all the staff and the fellow residents. He was so thankful to everyone that he came in contact with and developed friendships as well. We will always be thankful and blessed to all those that cared for my Dad. Our sincere and never ending gratitude and admiration for the hard work and dedicated care the staff provides to all its residents and family members. Thank you.

When visiting the residents that have made me who I am today in the caregiving world as a student. I got a bunch of looks and assumptions. Especially the white assisted living director. In my business, asking me my name, who I work for, etc. this place overall had a terrible attitude. I was able to talk to the residents I did care for so I don’t need to go back but don’t ever come at me like that again. Or it will be some issues

My mother had been at Sunrise of Silver Spring for nine months, and I couldn’t be happier with every aspect of their program. The staff is absolutely fantastic— caring, responsive, attentive. The facility is lovely and meticulously maintained, and the food is very good. The medical care is fantastic, with doctor and nurses who are diligent about staying on top of any and all problems, and keeping me well informed of any issues that arise.

We have had three parents over the past few years reside at Sunrise Senior Living in Silver Spring. Each one was treated with dignity and respect. The medical care and communication was excellent. The staff worked like a family and greeted you as you were their family too. The director Susan sets the caring tone for Sunrise and was so accessible and was attentive to any needs such as room changes or beginning hospice care. They treated our parents like they were theirs. Cannot say enough good from the beginning of the Covid pandemic they were on top of things and they have never let that lapse. I felt like Sunrise SS was the best place we could hope for to care for our loved ones.
