Looking for assisted living for my aunt was one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do. I wanted to find a place where she would be safe, cared for, and genuinely happy—not just another facility. From the moment we walked into Sunrise of Overland Park, we felt welcomed. The staff took the time to get to know my aunt as a person, not just a potential resident. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and they answered every question we had. What stood out most was how warm and inviting the community felt. Residents were engaged, smiling, and interacting with staff who clearly care about them. It felt more like a family than a senior living community. Knowing my aunt would be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion gives me tremendous peace of mind. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Overland Park to anyone looking for a place for someone they love.

Let me tell you about this place... Sunrise of OP has exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this is a place where residents are genuinely cared for - not just housed. The staff is outstanding, compassionate, attentive, and consistently respectful. They take the time to truly know the residents as individuals, and it shows in the way they interact daily. Communication has been clear, and proactive, which provides tremendous peace of mind! Mr. Clean would approve with the cleanliness of this place. I highly recommend Sunrise of OP, this is an amazing community where you can feel your loved ones are well taken care of!

I don’t usually write reviews for companies or services, but I felt compelled to in this case. I’m currently searching for a place for my parent, and during that process I connected with Tiffany Diaz at Sunrise Senior Living. I had scheduled a meeting with her without realizing that my dad isn’t quite at the stage where assisted living is necessary yet. Even though it turned out not to be the right fit for us at this time, Tiffany still took the time to walk us through what to look for and offered thoughtful, practical advice on how to approach our search. She easily could have ended the conversation once it became clear we weren’t a fit right now, but instead she went above and beyond to help us. Her willingness to spend time guiding us, with no immediate benefit to herself, really stood out. People who genuinely go out of their way to help others deserve to be recognized. Tiffany did an outstanding job.

Highly recommend! We had a family friend at Sunrise of Overland Park, and our experience with the community was wonderful. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the area outside feels safe and quiet. The staff is incredibly attentive and observant, always respected her privacy while still being present enough to give us confidence she was safe and cared for. We also loved how sociable and uplifting the environment is. Tiffany is great — the way she greets you and interacts with the residents truly makes it feel like home. There are plenty of fun, meaningful activities, and the team does an amazing job creating a real sense of community. It’s clear Sunrise genuinely values connection and quality of life. Overall, it’s a warm, caring place where your loved ones can feel supported, independent, and at home.
