My grandma lived on the second floor at Sunrise for three years, until she passed away, and I truly loved our experience there. The people, the level of care, and even the community of residents meant so much to us. Her doctor was wonderful—always attentive and proactive in making sure she had everything she needed. The staff consistently kept me informed, which gave me so much peace of mind. The nurses and caregivers were genuinely kind and compassionate. One moment that will always stay with me is the day I cleared out her apartment—several nurses hugged me and shared sweet memories of my grandma. That meant more than I can express. And I absolutely adore the front desk staff—they were always warm and welcoming. I think some negative reviews come from misunderstandings. Sunrise (on the first and second floors) isn’t a traditional nursing home—it’s independent-style apartment living with added support. As needs increase—like help with dressing, eating, or bathing—care plans naturally adjust. That’s standard for any community like this. We toured many places before choosing Sunrise, and I’m so grateful we did. It was the right place for my grandma, and I will always be thankful for the care and love she received there.

While considering a few different facilities, I found the sales manager, Caitlin, to be exceptionally gracious, kind, and very professional throughout our entire consideration. Although it seemed that we were settled on Sunrise, we ended up going to a (only) memory care facility. Despite the many weeks of on-going conversations with Caitlin, she was available, understanding, and gracious in her acceptance of our decision. Customer service is so invaluable, especially with today's many challenges. However, Caitlin made it very comfortable for me in our "good-bye" conversation. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt the need to do so in this instance. Thank you, Caitlin!!

This place is very expensive; while the care of some staff are very sub-par. My MIL stayed here (too long) and they charge for every scrap of help (IMO). Every month we'd have to ask about the increased charges (90% of the time) without any heads up. She fell 5 times there - three of which she was left UNATTENDED in her bathroom (clear signs posted to NOT do this) and of course she fell. She was in the AL part and they would drop her meal trays (not free) and then leave her room. No apparent help to cut her food, take the plastic lid off the tea, etc., or just sit and talk with her. We got out as soon as we could, with some of our savings leftover (not kidding - they will eat your $$$ in a hot minute). While the ED was helpful after EACH fall and anytime I had to inquire into an issue; at some point you look at the $$$$$ required verses the care (or lack of) and get your loved one out. She is now in a very lovely place; very caring staff that stay with her and make sure she is clean; a very responsive management group; and overall 200% improvement in my MILs "home". Run away unless you are super-rich!

My father has been in memory care for 6 months. He loves the food and has been happy. The caregivers are wonderful and like family. All the staff are very helpful!
