My mother currently resides at Sunrise of Baton Rouge. The care managers are kind and take the time to get to know the residents on a personal level. Jynell and Kim walk in my mother’s room singing and dancing several times a day. They often tease her and make her laugh. I’ve seen Latoya soothe my mother with kind words. It really touched my heart. Heather, the director, is always willing to listen and find solutions to concerns as they arise. No task is beneath her. I’ve seen Heather crawl on the floor to search for missing hearing aids, clean my mother’s bathroom, console residents, and hand feed a gentleman that became agitated in the lunchroom. Shannon, the activities director, is amazing! She rocks that place!!! Shannon is always coming up with interesting and exciting activities. Today the residents had a blast playing ping pong! She found a way to include everyone in the excitement. If they couldn’t play due to physical limitations, she had them cheering for their friends and neighbors!

Sunrise has a great caring, warm staff! They have parties and holiday events that are uplifting and fun to attend with delicious meals. Their days are full of engaging activities. My friend that lives their is very content to be there and well cared for. ❤️

The staff at Sunrise of Baton Rouge sets them apart from other facilities. They love and care for my father like he is their family. I have complete confidence and trust in my dad’s caregivers.

We are still relatively new to the Sunrise family, having moved my grandmother in about a month ago but thus far, we have been very pleased with the staff, service and amenities at Sunrise of BR and Grandma is happy as a lark!
