My mother has been here for six months now I had no complaints up until recently. The place is very clean very nice. She is well taken care of by the caregivers but the only problem is the staff and the directors will not do their job or return your phone calls if you have a problem, especially after it was addressed multiple times. This is costed me over $20,000 for the directors negligence of my mother‘s insurance and she had no intentions of trying to fix it. I was also told up and down that they could take care of my mother‘s needs and then recently they told me they could not do it anymore after they told me they could. If you were a loved, one needs extensive care this place will not be it for you even if they tell you.

I visited my uncle there last week. The place is very clean and he is very well cared for, but there is one glaring problem we visited for awhile in the lobby area. I was surprised to see delivery people walking in and out no one checking on them. This is a huge security risk with a vulnerable population, besides being most likely a HIPPA violation. These delivers should be left at the front desk and for no reason should strangers be allowed to roam the halls. I do plan on checking on HIPPA requirements in this matter.

We do some maintenance work at StoryPoint. We have found the management to be dedicated to the safety and appearance of the facility. Every staff member we meet and work with is kind, pleasant, and helpful. Maintenance and improvement projects are continually in-process and in planning at any given time. This size of facility requires constant care, some of which we help with and some we see being taken care of by others. I would feel good about having one of my family members here when needed.
