At LakeHouse Kalamazoo, our assisted living community, we provide personalized, attentive care in a warm yet stimulating environment. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and our full-time nurse is available 24 hours per day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.
We help our residents thrive, with a full slate of activities, such as men's and women's social club, movies, live entertainment, bingo, chess club, and exercise. Our beautiful, pet-friendly community features a private courtyard, where residents can garden, relax, and socialize in the fresh air.

This place is great, one of the cleaner retirement homes. Great residents. I have mixed feelings about the staff. Some of which are amazing and very helpful, versus the other half are pretty snobby, seem to be lazy and not have retained much knowledge about the care they are providing possibly because the staff are younger. One night we waited almost an hour for assistance, which came when we were finished. Then when they did show up they acted as if it wasn’t their job to provide the help and care needed. Some of the staff talk to the employees like they are children which I find very disrespectful. Hopefully these things can be addressed, if so this would be a great place to work and house family member knowing their health and safety matters.
