At LakeHouse Kalamazoo, our assisted living community, we provide personalized, attentive care in a warm yet stimulating environment. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and our full-time nurse is available 24 hours per day to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.
We help our residents thrive, with a full slate of activities, such as men's and women's social club, movies, live entertainment, bingo, chess club, and exercise. Our beautiful, pet-friendly community features a private courtyard, where residents can garden, relax, and socialize in the fresh air.

We have been happy with the support from Lakehouse staff for our mom. She is much happier, more social and we don’t worry about her like we did when she was alone. Staff are great and she enjoys the environment. We would say that more variety with meals would be an improvement perhaps considering asking residents for their recommendations And during family holiday meals, it’s hard to visit with the music playing. It’s not that we don’t like music, but it’s hard for mom to participate in our conversations

Lakehouse has been very good at dealing with my mother-in-law who has dementia. They also try to have great family time at holidays.
