Sonata Vero Beach is such a great facility, with caring, hard-working, companionate staff. I work at a local doctor's office and have a lot of patients that reside at Sonata and they are always telling me how they love to live there and enjoy the activities they get to be a part of, they feel like they are one big family. I would recommend Sonata Vero Beach to anyone, it is a great place to live.

I am a personal friend and aide of a resident at Sonata Vero Beach, and I would like to bring a concern to your attention. There is a staff member named “Kiki” (as shown on her name tag) whose behavior during my visits has been consistently rude and unprofessional. On multiple occasions, I have observed her being loud, disruptive, and speaking to residents in an impolite manner. This is concerning, as residents already have enough challenges and deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion—especially considering the level of care they rely on and pay for. That said, I would like to emphasize that aside from this issue, the facility has been wonderful to my friend. The rest of the care staff have been kind, attentive, and consistently welcoming, always willing to help with positive attitudes and smiles on their faces. Thank you for taking the time to address this concern. I truly appreciate the care provided overall and hope this feedback helps maintain the high standard of care your residents deserve.

My wife spent 11 out of 18 days at Sonata for a cost of over 6 grand. The 7 days she was in the hospital not one call from anyone at Sonata on how she was doing or when she was returning. While I was driving the phone rang and that was when I was told my wife passed away. Not much empathy, compassion or caring for a place that sold its self on those virtues.

My Long time friend has lived here for 2 years . Along the time visiting her , her room has been left in poor condition, care is never up to part. The ladies there seem lovely but I was intrigued to know why the care is so lagged, this company makes an easy 5-7 Million a year and Only pays the care staff minimum wage 15.00 even if your certified ! That has to be hard caring for over 100 residents , they are always short staffed and there is a revolving door of employees which is horrible and this effects patient cognitive decline. Me and other relatives are getting together to speak on the behalf of the care staff it’s just unbelievable to know that this company treats its residents and staff this way.
