Heron Cove Assisted Living & Memory Care of Vero Beach

The building seems to be on the up and up. I was visiting a family member and they seemed super happy other than the food complaints and unfortunately my family member said the director of nursing was rude and not very easy to talk to. When I asked her why she did not bring it up to the director they said everyone knows how she is and nothing is ever done about it. I hope they talk to her and make her realize how important it is that the residents and even the staff and come to her. The director of the building was a very friendly man though! The activities ladies are also so attentive and caring!

My mother has been at Heron Cove for approximately one month, and I cannot say enough good things about her care. The nurses have been incredibly attentive to her needs and are always readily available. The front desk staff is warm and welcoming, always greeting my mother whenever she comes and goes. Heather was amazing in making the transition to Heron Cove smooth and stress free. Our family, and most importantly, my mother is so happy with Heron Cove. We cannot express our gratitude enough.

Lynette Martinez pathways director (aka activities director) really dedicates herself to keeping the memory care residents engaged. Which isn’t always so easy when after lunch they just want to fall a sleep. She always comes up with fun and creative things to keep residents minds active. Thank you Lynette! Hope you are appreciated by your bosses. You are a gift!

I recently visited Heron Cove and they genuinely care for their residents and team members. At a recent event, the assisted living residents were happily dancing, singing, and chatting, clearly feeling at home. The team also joined in, offering companionship and excellent care. I had the privilege of touring their Memory Care home, which was one of the most inviting communities I've seen. The space was thoughtfully designed with musical instruments, a craft room, a beautiful courtyard, and a lovely dining area, all creating a homelike feel. I even received a hug from a happy resident. It's comforting to know your loved one is in such a wonderful, safe environment, receiving exceptional care from a dedicated team.
