Somerby has turned out to be the perfect place for mom. The staff have been incredibly helpful and attentive to mom during her first few days at Somerby. The residents have been friendly and welcoming. I know we made the right decision in choosing Somerby’s Independent Living for her.

As a healthcare worker in the senior community all over the county, Somerby is, by far, my favorite to call on. As soon as you walk in, you are always greeted with a smile at concierge. I have never encountered anything except for a welcome and upbeat attitude and hello from every single staff member there- from the operations office, to the clinical staff, CNA’s to the staff working in dining. Every single person employed there is truly dedicated to EACH and EVERY resident, and it shows. The residents are not just treated like family, they ARE family at Somerby. It also happens to be the most beautiful senior community I have ever been in (and I have been in MANY)- but pretty buildings only get you so far; it is the staff, the care, and the love and passion they have for seniors that makes Somerby truly special.

What a great evening on Sunday for Wine Pairing Event, the Chef topped off the wonderful meal with awesome wines. We had a good time engaging with our friends and great staff.

My parents were one of the first residents to live in the Somberby independent living building. My dad still lives there and as a daughter, I know he is in a wonderful and safe environment. Logan Johnston, the director, is truly one of the best senior living directors you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. Throughout the years, my parents have had some health emergencies. Logan and her staff have been a huge help in making sure they were taken care of quickly(911) . While no place is perfect, and I absolutely am aware of that, what I do know is my 93 year old dad is living his best active "independent " life, which brings our family great comfort. Someone (who knows him well) has eyes on him everyday and for that I am forever grateful. Ps. The apartments are comfortable and very well maintained. as well as the common living areas.
