Silverado Thousand Oaks Memory Care Community

Today I visited Silverado Memory Care Community in Thousand Oaks.It is in a beautiful residential neighborhood surrounded by mountains. I was blown away at the genuine kindness and engagement that the staff provided residents. There were two service dogs, birds, a sports rehabilitation facility, community center, games, and smiling faces everywhere. Residents were greeted by name. The dining room was beautiful and pristine. While none of my family or friends are in need of memory care, I would place someone I loved, with confidence and trust, at this facility. Thank you, Silverado, for the beautiful space you have created for our senior population.

Silverado Memory Care in Thousand Oaks is truly a special place. The staff are compassionate, patient, and genuinely care about each resident as a person, not just a patient. You can see the respect and kindness they show every day, even in small interactions. The environment feels safe, calm, and thoughtfully designed for individuals living with memory loss. Activities are meaningful and engaging, helping residents stay connected and supported. Silverado is a place where families can feel confident their loved ones are treated with dignity and love. I would strongly encourage anyone considering memory care to give Silverado a chance.

I had the pleasure of leading a gentle yoga and sound bath session at Silverado Thousand Oaks. The courtyard was beautifully set up and created such a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were warm and compassionate, and I even got to meet Wolfy, their sweet resident dog! Silverado-Thousand Oaks took great care of my mother in her final months. All of the staff, from nurses, to care staff, kitchen, laundry, maintenance people, were 100% caring, professional, patient and helpful. My mother had dementia and I could tell that each of them had training in caring for residents like her. From her first day at Silverado to her last breath, she was made to feel a part of their family. In addition, the management Silverado T.O. far exceeded my expectations in their knowledge, responsiveness, and compassion. I could not imagine a better place for her during that time. I highly recommend Silverado-Thousand Oaks!
