Rose Senior Living – Providence Park

Facility and grounds are very nice and the residents are great. Beautiful location as well. Review is ONLY from an employee perspective from one department. Leadership starts off with pretending to care but would turn on you in a second. Staff of young, lazy adults who have no ambition to really care, or work at all, have replaced the genuine employees. This group is one-by-one targeting and checking off all the good employees. Management and HR has been swallowed up by this new culture and has rendered them complicit and useless. Sad when good employees get let go or have to quit - the only ones that suffer are the residents and they deserve better than that.

My decision to select Rose for my mother was influenced primarily by its location. I was impressed by the professionalism, expertise, and empathy displayed by the staff, especially Brandon, who patiently guided my mother through the various services and amenities available to her. Once my mother saw her room and its enviable location, she was convinced. Though she did not participate in all the activities, she was content doing puzzles and socializing with other residents when she chose to do so. As her caregiver, I was extremely grateful for the invaluable assistance and support provided by the aides at Rose, who demonstrated exceptional kindness and patience towards my mother throughout her stay. I cannot thank them enough for making her time there a comfortable and pleasant experience.

We needed a community that could take my Mom after a surgery and rehab. Rose Senior Living fulfilled our urgent need easily and made the move in and application process easy. Everyone on the team has made her time there a wonderful experience so she can work on healing. From administration through medical staff and housekeeping, everyone has been respectful and caring. What a great community!

My mother was a resident at Rose Senior Living for 14 months, until her recent passing in Jan. 2023. She went into Rose (assisted living) kicking and screaming (having lost my father a year earlier and slowly debilitating to where it was no longer safe for her to live alone). I was expecting it to be a tough acclimation but after about the first month she gained her footing, a bunch of new friends, activities to do and even staff that she could rely on for both personal and professional needs. It wasn’t perfect all the time but I know that the management and staff always had the best interest of my mom in mind. They were readily available to help, the nursing staff was amazing and every team member, including the Medtechs, Aides, and Director Taylor were kind and loving. As my mother started to struggle it was very difficult, constant hospital visits, rehab and the like. One of the key benefits was having the attending team at Providence Hospital also supporting medical needs at Rose so there was a continuum of care (so everyone was on the same page). We recognized that my mother had limited time and Rose could not have made things better for us. Our family held vigil for several days, 24/7, the Rose team not only helped her but supported us as well. They laughed with us, cried with us, and when she finally passed they grieved with us. The best you can hope for when placing trust in elder care is that your loved one will be treated with care and respect. We got all of that and much much more and for that I will always be thankful to the Rose team.
