Placing mom in memory care was painful, but necessary. As it happens, this specific placement allowed her to have a vital, interested life. Her caregivers were attentive, but generally unobtrusive, helping and supporting her so that she could continue to read, pray, socialize, and be a valued part of a community. There were two different memory care directors during mom’s stay. They both knew her, and her habits and preferences, as well as any friend would. The dietary coordinator addressed mom’s unusual food likes and dislikes with cheer and grace. There are too many to name, but folks like Patty, Leticia, Crystal, Stephanie, Courtney, Kimberly, and Michelle and Shelly protected my mom’s health, her dignity, and her spirit. Even staff members who work in the other building spoke knowledgeably and compassionately about my mom. While I would have preferred my mom spend her final years healthy, vital, independent and sharp, I cannot adequately express my gratitude for the fact that this staff, at this location, helped give mom a good, safe, and vibrant life.

I would do a negative one-star if I could. During, to-date, the most stressful time in our family's life, the medical director and sales person sent me a medical diagnosis of my mom that DID NOT EXIST. Aside from the fact that neither have the medical certification to diagnose ANYONE, they sent me a text asking for more medical information based on a fake diagnosis and then GHOSTED us. Incredibly unethical and immoral and I have the receipts. - You would actually need to get someone to ANSWER the phone there to learn more.

After filling out all the paperwork and having my senior family member. Evaluated by staff. They rejected him for memory care placement. No, explanation, no phone call, just an email at the end of the workday. It sure appeared they didn't want to have to answer any questions. Very disappointed in the administrative staff. I thought this was the best facility for my senior family member.
