This is my second time going into a skilled nursing facility; My first experience was disastrous! However, my experience with Redwood Terrace was drastically different. The first two days seemed like a series of interviews with every aspect/director of that department coming in and asking me what I needed, explain to me what services are going to be offered, and making me feel very at home. The best part about Redwood Terrace was the physical and occupational therapy that they offer. Unbelievable staff that knew exactly what they were doing. And got me to be much stronger than I anticipated I could become. The day-to-day nursing staff was responsive, compassionate, and really seemed to care about what they were doing. The administration was communicative, available, and again… Seem genuinely interested in my progress and my comfort. Some may want to know about the food that they serve; it was quite good. I did learn though that you should choose your own menu to make sure you get the optimal experience. I could not have asked for a better experience and a more helpful experience to get me stronger and back on my feet again… Literally

My family member (Brother) stayed at Redwood Terrace for rehabilitation after a CVA (stroke), and the care was excellent from start to finish. The staff were compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to helping with recovery. Therapy was thorough and encouraging, and the nursing team made sure every need was met. We’re so grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and teamwork that made such a difference. Highly recommend Redwood Terrace for anyone needing rehab or skilled nursing care!

The staff is very professional for the most part. and caring and attentive. However, keeping a room temperature at 67⁰ is unacceptable. My mother has been there for two months and complained that the thermostat was not working.l, and it was cold. The maintenance guy claimed he was going to work on it, and then said he fixed it. This was a month ago. However, it was not fixed. She has made several complaints since then. I mentioned it to the nurse a few days ago who said something about my mothers attitude. I mentioned that it was very cold in the room, rather loudy, and said it was unacceptable and ny mother's attitude was not frivolous. She then said it was an old building and that there were issues. So, which one is it? I then asked who I was supposed to talk to about it, and she mentioned a name, with no further instruction on how to get ahold of him to discuss it, and she walked away. This is entirely unacceptable, and I surely hope that my mother does not experience repercussions due to this review. UPDATE: Your staff lost her personal blanket, which she purchased, and was comfortable to her. It was brought to her by family from her home. It was sent to the laundry two weeks ago, and is lost with no resolution at hand. I shouldn't have to call Mike! Your staff should be handling it. TWO WEEKS! Do better!!
