My mother has been at Three Forks for the last 10 months. Initially we selected it because it looked nice and was very close to our home. Now I wouldn't want her anywhere else. The most important thing to us is the the staff there really care for their residents. I'm there nearly ever day a witness first hand the love and compassion that the RAs and Med-techs show the people they care for. The Director is a super nice guy. We're hoping that the new management keeps this quality of care going. Mom loves the food there too.

DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. It’s supposed to be an “Assited living” but all I see is nursing home residents. The aids have to fully body lift the residents without any proper equipment which leads to injuries on the aids and med aids. This place is not fully staffed, agency is running the floor and they don’t do half the job that they’re supposed to. They don’t pay their care aids enough for lifting 100+ pound residents and pay the agency staff more when they don’t even work they just walk around talking on their phones. This place over works there care aids. Management is a mess and is always in their office and never comes out to check on their staff or residents. This place needs to be better managed and Dina the director that is supposed to bring in residents to the home is not qualified what’s so ever because she is bringing in NURSING HOME RESIDENTS when this place is supposed to be a ASSISTED LIVING. I’m glad I took my grandma out of here because the aids never had any time for her since they were always busy with the residents that should be in a nursing home.

Though the people who work here are friendly, Three Forks is struggling with understaffing problems. The public toilet is dirty and some halls smell of urine. Residents are supposed to have regular housekeeping, but that doesn’t happen. The food is adequate, but not great. The transportation bus doesn’t work, so there are no off site activities. There is no friendly nurse or receptionist up front to manage immediate needs of residents or families. The security lighting for night time is STILL inoperative since Mom & Dad moved in two months ago. My parents begged us not to put them in a nursing home, and we assured them that Three Forks was highly regarded “Assisted Living”. However, it is not up to the standard of what we were expecting for the amount of money my parents are paying.

Ownership has changed and the quality of service has deteriorated. Once a great place for my parents to live, Three Forks has deteriorated to a stereotypical nursing home that smells of urine, has terrible food in the dining hall and miserable residents. Bottom line….the bottom line is what matters to the new ownership with the residents simply being a means to make money. Simply stay away at this point. My family is searching for another option for my parents.
