The community comprises 128 apartments for adults 55 and over — including studio apartments, one, two, and three-bedroom suites, and a variety of floor plans. Pebble Springs Retirement is all-inclusive, providing five-star services on a month-to-month basis. A single monthly charge includes all services, utilities, phone, cable, and internet.

Residents savor the variety found in an industry-first all-inclusive Freedom Dining Program. With three fresh chef-prepared meals daily, residents can choose from a variety of menu options and dining experiences with flexible hours. Coffee, juice, ice cream, and snacks are available all day. Weekly housekeeping service is provided, along with transportation to and from appointments and shopping trips.
Numerous planned activities, social events, and travel opportunities abound. Live-in managers and concierge and valet services are available 24/7, ensuring resident safety. Pets are warmly welcome at Pebble Springs Retirement, with no additional pet deposit. A guest suite is available for residents’ family members to reserve for visits. This senior living facility is a beautiful building with numerous ammenities. It is one of over 60 apartment communities operated by the parent company in Lincoln, NE. The property offers the big advantage of not requiring "buy in", and offers month to month rentals. As a result, prospective residents should be aware that the monthly cost may be higher. Pebble is marketed as "independent living", but many feel that it leans a bit more toward "assisted living". A number of residents are very dependent. For sure it is all-inclusive, but one would be hard pressed to call it resort-like. Both the management and food have improved in the last year. The on-site managers are constantly having to strike the difficult balance between following the directives from the home office and the needs/desires of the residents. This is no easy task since the majority of the current residents previously lived in the extremely active communities of The Villages. Miriam and Mike have made some much-needed changes, and step in to assist whenever needed. The Activities Director, Debbie, is fantastic and creative. She offers an amazing array of daily activities, movies, happy hours with music, and outings. She is somewhat stymied by having only a single 12-passenger bus, which is inadequate for the large number of residents who want to participate in her exciting trips. It appears that the home office is not receptive to adding a second bus to accommodate this need. The food at Pebble is very good and plentiful, especially the Sunday Brunch. A new chef has been at Pebble for 7 months. He is creative, and often does special events that are theme-based. Those expecting restaurant style dining would be disappointed in the cafeteria style. The biggest challenge is keeping hot food consistently hot. When having to pick up food in the line, adding items from the salad bar, picking up a drink, and taking it all to a table, hot food has often cooled. The dining room staff is very efficient, though there is a lot of turnover. Maintenance is terrific and responsive for building-related and apartment repairs. It has changed from when I first moved here. Initially Michael would do most anything for residents if a work order was submitted. Recently his activity has been limited to building maintenance. Residents are encouraged to hire a handyman to perform things like hanging pictures. Michael is still a very pleasant, knowledgeable, and positive staff member who works extremely hard. There are three concierge persons who work tirelessly to keep many diverse facets of life here working smoothly 24 hours a day. They are super, and are very responsive. Sarah and Susan are amazing, and effectively fill in for the the managers on their days off. Pebble Springs is one of the better Senior Living facilities in the area, and it offers inclusions that make my life care-free and enjoyable. Most of my fellow residents are cheerful, sociable, and engaging.

We have been here since the opening, and have enjoyed our place very much. Our biggest complaint or concern is with the food. As example, today the menu had BLT wrap. I was given a sandwich with no bacon and a 1/4 slice of tomato and lettuce. The other item was tuna salad stuffed tomatoe. Was served tuna salad on a bun. We just believe that the quality doesn't meet what we pay. We still love living here. Other wise all's good.
