We visited many assisted living facilities. Unfortunately the first one was the wrong one. Then by some faith of luck we found the the Hearthstone. It was day and night when we first walked into thé place compared to all the others , it was alive with friendly residents and staff. In no way did it look like a typical rest home. The staff there is amazing and it doesn’t matter what they’re job is they do it because they enjoy it. The cleaning staff to the wait staff and management I can’t find a complaint . I would not have problem sending a loved one there because they caring people. I could go on and on how pleased my wife and I saw how my sister was treated. A big thank you to your company. AWFUL ! My wife was in Memory Care due to Alzheimer's here for 11 weeks (Sept 11-Nov 21, 2025) until I had to remove her fearing for her life. She was admitted to ER for unresponsiveness with an ER diagnosis of Polypharmacy (Over medicated with sedatives prescribed by Hearthstone's nursing staff) . She was found naked in a man resident's room witnessed by another residents daughter. The daughter finally got an aide to come and heard banging on the wall for 15 minutes until she came out. Tests that were to be ordered such as labs and urinalysis were promised but never ordered for ankles so swollen and possible urinary infection ( which was was found in the new facility in one week ) she couldn't wear shoes. The day after I took her to another facility 3 fist size yellow bruises were found on her back. Bruising of this nature takes 7-10 days to discolor, which coincides with her being in the room with the man resident and aide. Good luck having anyone return phone calls. Lots of turnover in the 2 months my wife was there.

Manager, Carrie orders catering every single day and does not tip. I usually backed my car up and load up all the catering and then I get there and no sign of Guess Who…. Carrie!!! Thank you Mrs. Stalbaum!
