Wow! My grandmother is looking for a nice place and this is it. We were stopped in the hall by one resident who asked if we were looking to move in, she said it was a great place and that we wouldn't regret it. We loved the kitchen and that it has a stove built in. We loved the friendliness of the staff and other residents. I was lucky enough to see the culture of caring quietly displayed by the staff. A resident stopped English during our tour to thank him for visiting her in the hospital. It wasn't an act, it was unassuming and humble and it really moved us. This isn't the cheapest or the most expensive place we toured and yet it seemed to us to be an awesome space for my grandmother and it's close enough to visit all the time. We're looking forward to having lunch with English next week. We have got to try this home cooking they're talking about! Overall I'm impressed by the culture the staff nurtures with their caring hearts and i am confident we'll settle in great!

My mom has spent three months at Park West in respite care after an accident. From Day One, our experience has been positive and reassuring that Mom was in good hands as she recovered. The facility is very nice and maintained well; her room is spacious and pleasant. All of our interactions with staff have been impressive - sales, front desk, nursing, aides, activities - everyone has been attentive, friendly, positive and professional. I have received prompt return calls and responses for every question I have had and quick attention to any concerns. I am so grateful that she was able to recover in a facility so well-run and homelike. I would recommend it, without reservation, to anyone looking for an assisted living facility.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Park West Plaza on N. Maize Road. We recently had to move my parents into an assisted living facility, and we were faced with tackling the task very quickly over the Christmas and New Year holidays. It was an incredibly stressful time for my family, but Sherri and the entire staff at Park West were so caring and thoughtful and helpful, they made the very hard and emotional transition so easy and seamless. Sherri went above and beyond to help us out, taking calls after hours and on weekends, staying late to help us out with questions and helping make sure my Mom could move in on Christmas Eve. My entire family felt so welcome and most importantly, we truly feel my parents are in a good and safe place where they will be cared for. The entire staff has been so helpful also, it was such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food is delicious, they offer wonderful opportunities and activities for residents, and the apartment is clean, roomy and feels like home. And even when I have questions or concerns now, the staff is on top of it and always responds in a timely and friendly manner. THANK YOU Sherri and Park West Plaza! For anyone looking for a retirement community in Wichita, I highly recommend stopping in to check out what they have to offer! :)
