Oakmont of Torrance is a beautiful community that truly exceeds expectations in every way! The community is beautifully maintained, always clean, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The management team is exceptional—professional, responsive, and truly dedicated to both residents and staff. You can see the positive staff morale reflected in the compassionate and attentive care they provide. The Health Services Director, Angelie goes above and beyond to ensure residents receive quality care and support. Families can feel at ease knowing their loved ones are in great hands. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the incredible team at Oakmont of Torrance—especially Judith, Angel, Glenn, Richard, Irene, Cortney, and many others. As someone who works in home health care and has collaborated with their team for nearly a year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing their unwavering dedication to every resident’s well-being. The Oakmont team consistently goes above and beyond to create an environment where residents feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for. Their compassion shines through in everything they do, from daily interactions to the extra attention they give to those who need it most. One moment that truly stood out to me was when a resident required specialized care. Angel, the Health Services Director, took the time to thoroughly vet multiple vendors to ensure the best possible fit for the family. What impressed me most was her complete impartiality—she kept both my friend and me updated throughout the process, making it clear that her priority was never about favoring a particular vendor but about securing the highest quality care for the resident. Oakmont of Torrance is a warm, welcoming community. The staff members are friendly and helpful from the front desk to the Executive Director and Memory Care Director. Everyone we meet is caring and knowledgeable. Memory Care Director, Richard, is very knowledgeable in the area of dementia and is very passionate about ensuring his staff and members are knowledgeable as well. He takes a personal interest in every resident and knows them all by name. We are so fortunate we were able to place our mother/MIL in such a wonderful facility and blessed with caring personnel. Richard takes the time to educate and inform family members about dementia and we look forward to his next presentation!
