My father lived at Mira Vie (formerly The Chelsea) for a year and a half. The team there took exceptional care of my father. They were always welcoming during my visits and were very good with communicating with me regarding his care and comfort.

My name is Kelly Amato, my mom Linda McLaren became a resident at The Chelsea of Tinton Falls back in July of 2023. I cannot say enough about the staff they have been so professional and made this experience so much easier on both myself and my mom. This was not an easy transition but with the guidance and empathy from the staff it made it so much easier. Some staff that stick out to me are Kelly and Craig who guided me through the process and made me feel at ease with leaving my mom in their care. Karen the head nurse who went over everything with me and spoke with with my mom with such empathy and sensitivity. Robin the activities coordinator who went out of her way to introduce my mom to hers really made me so at peace that my mom would have a friend right away. Cheyenne who is so kind working the front desk and professional every time I call or have a question. I am so thankful for all of these people that have been put into my Moms life and mine. Thank you again

Mom moved into the Chelsea about a year ago after a Summer in a hospital and rehab facility. She was depressed, and felt hopeless and isolated. She was nearly wheelchair-bound, fell asleep mid-sentence, and had myriad other problems. She thought she went to the Chelsea to die. Instead, at the Chelsea she got better. After one year at the Chelsea, she can out-pace me with her walker, needs no help getting out of a chair, has a group of resident friends, and she enjoys her life again. Her health issues are all under control. All the staff at the Chelsea, from maintenance and kitchen staff on up to the Executive Director are super friendly and responsive. I’ve told mom I’d take her back home to care for her there if she wants to leave, but she refuses. She is happy staying at the Chelsea. Chelsea is family.

My mother (91 years old) has lived in two previous assisted living facilities. I have never felt the professionalism and caring that I have felt as I have interacted with the Chelsea-Tinton Falls staff. Kelly Murphy is a most incredible professional She has listened to all of our concerns and has responded above and beyond with such personal care and concern She has understood our urgency to move my mother and she has been outstanding in insuring this successful transtion. Karen, the nurse who assessed my mother, showed more knowledge and understanding of the gerontological resident better than any other nurse with whom we have interacted. Craig, the executive director, has demonstrated his responsiveness to the resident and extended family. We feel so delighted that we have been able to meet this incredible team of professionals and that my mother will become a part of this caring community! Sincerely, Lona Whitmarsh
