McKenzie Place management condones extremely rude treatment of visitors/prospective customers. My wife and I had an appointment with Lexi in Health and Wellness today at 1:30 to discuss how long term care insurance works with a facility such as McKenzie Place. We arrived and the front desk receptionist said that Lexi would not be meeting with us and said Lexi/her supervisor said it was not in their best interest to talk with us. We were absolutely floored as we had heard of nothing but wonderful things about McKenzie Place but obviously the negative Google Reviews McKenzie has received are most likely well founded. McKenzie Place must have serious management issues to directly instruct their employees to treat possible customers in such a manner. P.S. To provide some contrast, I visited a LTC facility in Loveland, CO today called Stoneridge and had a very informative conversation and tour by Logan. There is no comparison to the welcoming attitude and willingness to share information.

I can't say enough about how amazing the staff is at MP. Brenda in sales helped my father actually get in. She listened attentively to his needs and made it happened. Brenda is a very compassionate person with a warm yet professional approach. Nikki works with the move in process and excels with her position. From the day my father moved in, she has been involved with making sure every little detail is taken care of. Making sure that my father is part of the family style community, happy and positive atmosphere. Nikki also informed me of my dads need for assistance lessened to be able to move into independent living saving a great deal of money and a bigger space. She has been incredible to work with and a total asset to have on the MP staff. Katie is the person in charge of grading the residents need of assistance. I was also very impressed with her patience talking with my father to see what level of care he would require. I thought she was very fair at grading his needs. I know Brenda and Nikki are very dedicated and appreciative of having positions of being able to help people in this difficult time in a persons stage of life. They all three make this time so positive of an experience for the resident and family. All the people working at MP, have been so warm and helpful. The Front desk, the assisted living staff, the restaurant staff, Jeff Maxwell PT director, the maintenance guy Josh (?), housekeeping staff, everyone, has been amazing and I'm really appreciative for the life my dad leads now at MP. Thank you all very much!!

My dad has been living at MacKenzie Place since 2016. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and its staff. My dad lives in the memory care area and it is so pretty and pleasant. The outdoor courtyard is beautiful and, weather permitting, they are able to leave the French doors open creating an indoor/outdoor feeling that is so welcoming. I have visited many memory care facilities prior to moving my dad to Mackenzie Place and none of the outdoor areas come even close to comparing to the MacKenzie's. The rest of the facility is also beautiful and when my dad was more mobile, we would bring my kids over for lunch (they have 2 great restaurants) or to swim in the pool while my dad and I watched them. It was so nice to have a comfortable, fun place to visit with him. The staff is also really nice. They treat my dad and my family with respect. They tell me often how much they like my dad and have even sent me pictures of him when we have been unable to get there to visit. I have popped in unannounced to visit my dad often. His room is always clean, and he is shaved and clean which I know cannot be easy for the staff. We are so grateful to know that he is being cared for in this way. I would recommend MacKenzie Place to any family or friend.
