Great staff thst I trust with my elderly father. They made the test for him pleasant and they genuinely care about the tenants there. The holiday decorations are absolutely wonderful and give a festive holiday spirit. Thanks!

My folks, 98 and 100 year olds, were at MacKenzie Place for 3 years. I was there all the time and interacted with most of the independent and assisted living staff. I doubt there is a better senior living facility in all of Colorado. The care they received from a loving, patient staff was incredible. The facility is top notch and the services and activities were really amazing. I would highly recommend MacKenzie Place to anyone looking for senior living in Northern Colorado.

Beware…this is not a five star facility. It’s like a piece of candy with a pretty wrapper that’s rotten on the inside. The management staff – outside of the move-in facilitator - is a good ‘ol boys club. Don’t get on their bad side, or they will literally come after you. The GM (a self- proclaimed christian) is especially a treat! Filed two false police reports and a 911 call against me because I was a whistleblower on the poor care my mother was receiving in assisted living. 80% of the resident assistants in the assisted-living are inadequately trained, some are downright rude, and most of them spend more time on their phone than with the residents. We pulled my mother out of this facility after 9 months. There are other places in Fort Collins that may not be as fancy, but the people inside care.

McKenzie Place management condones extremely rude treatment of visitors/prospective customers. My wife and I had an appointment with Lexi in Health and Wellness today at 1:30 to discuss how long term care insurance works with a facility such as McKenzie Place. We arrived and the front desk receptionist said that Lexi would not be meeting with us and said Lexi/her supervisor said it was not in their best interest to talk with us. We were absolutely floored as we had heard of nothing but wonderful things about McKenzie Place but obviously the negative Google Reviews McKenzie has received are most likely well founded. McKenzie Place must have serious management issues to directly instruct their employees to treat possible customers in such a manner. P.S. To provide some contrast, I visited a LTC facility in Loveland, CO today called Stoneridge and had a very informative conversation and tour by Logan. There is no comparison to the welcoming attitude and willingness to share information.
