I work in senior care and have been to ALL of the facilities between Colorado Springs and Pueblo and Mackenzie Place is hands down the nicest. There is never an unpleasant smell and the residents are so social and kind. One of the biggest kudos goes to Makenzie Places retention of staff. I’ve been in and out of the building regularly for 8 years and in that time, they have only had one new GM/ED - and I see the same housekeeping staff year after year as well. If you’re taking care of your people from the top down, you’re going to have a good, reliable team!

Front desk is so rude and unhelpful..... I witnessed a delivery driver ask for information about the community for a potential new resident and the lady at the from desk didn't seem interested to help other than handing her a book and she explained she was making a delivery for an important item for a resident that was out of town for 2 days when the driver explained it was very important and they would not be able to receiver with the upcoming holiday the front desk didn't care and said she is gone for a 2 days and to take it back... is this how they treat their people? Is ur loved one getting their important mail? The lady couldn't have cared less. I hope it gets worked out our seniors are yhe back bones that built our country

I am writing this review as a long time vendor to MacKenzie Place. I have been providing products and services to both the Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs locations for many years. Every time I am at either of the locations I keep telling myself, "this is where I would like to be"! Of course in the event I would be in a situation to have the opportunity. The very first thing anyone will notice if they were to visit is the absolute dedication the employees have to their residents. Friendly, concerned, caring, empathetic, and inspirational are just a few of the words that come to mind. The interaction between the employees and the residents is unbelievable. This I can attest to isn't just a "front of the house" show. As a vendor, I get to go behind the scenes as well and I can assure anyone that the heartfelt caring stretches way beyond the front reception desk. From the warm welcome upon arriving, the fantastic restaurant service, the memory care, the boutique and the swimming pool and therapy provided are just a few of the amenities I notice each and every time I visit. Regardless of what type of care I observe, everything is performed with absolute professionalism and just as important, they sincerely care. Thank you MacKenzie Place for providing such a 5 star facility!!

They treat Hispanic people bad. And treat black people terrible here. Not a good place for people of color or different race. I've had to come and pick up equipment for my company and I have told my supervisor about this. Old Krispy wrinkle white women act like they afraid of someone that don't look like Tom Cruise.
