I recently placed my brother-in-law in the Memory Care unit at Las Villas Del Norte Senior Living in Escondido, and I could not be more grateful for the care and compassion we’ve experienced. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at home. A special thank you to Mr. Phil Mikelatos, who was my primary contact. He was simply amazing—friendly, compassionate, and truly understanding of our situation. He made sure his team took care of every detail, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. I also want to recognize Ms. Reu Baggao, who has been fantastic. She is always responsive, attentive, and willing to help with any request I’ve had. The entire team at Las Villas Del Norte demonstrates genuine kindness and dedication to their residents. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for exceptional Memory Care and a place where their loved ones will be treated with dignity and respect.

I'm grateful to share my positive experience with Las Villas Del Norte. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facility consistently impress me during my visits. The common areas, dining spaces, and hallways are always well-kept and create a welcoming environment. What truly stands out is the kindness of the staff members. From the front desk to the caregivers, everyone treats my mother with genuine warmth and respect. They take time to get to know her as an individual, not just another resident. Most importantly, my mother receives excellent care tailored to her specific needs. This gives our family tremendous peace of mind knowing she's in capable, caring hands. Another highlight is the variety of activities offered throughout the week. My mother genuinely enjoys participating in the programs, which keep her engaged and provide wonderful opportunities to socialize with other residents. I highly recommend this facility to other families looking for quality assisted living care.

From the moment I reached out to inquire about Respite Care, I felt this was the right place for our mom Dee. Although she wasn't a resident yet, we attended a weekend luau that she thoroughly enjoyed. That experience confirmed our decision to move forward with a two-week Respite Care stay. When we arrived to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave—so her visit was extended to three weeks! Every moment of her stay felt right. The staff was prompt in responding to our questions and consistently sent thoughtful updates, including photos of Mom with a big smile on her face. We truly appreciate the warm welcome. Every staff member was attentive to our needs and made not only our family feel at home but also Mom’s regular caretaker, who joined us to help celebrate her 90th birthday. Thank you all so much! Do not take your loved ones to this facility! My parents just left there after being infected with bed bugs. Las Villas didn't take the complaint seriously and waited to heat treat the room for over a week and only after our insisting. They sprayed the mattress and had them sleep on it after. Las villas is owned by a management company that's only concerned by the bottom line. We had to move them to another facility. They had to buy new furniture, bed, bedding and pay to move. My mother was getting bit for over three weeks and didn't know what it was. They're in their 90's and didn't need this. After calling the management company it took 1 1/2 weeks to return the call. Very disappointed with Las Villas!
