When I visit, everyone knows me and they know my wife intimately. They answer all my questions and treat my wife with dignity I truly believe you have to be an angel to do this kind of work

Writing on behalf of a blind friend whose husband was a resident there for several months. I am a RN so know what care should look like. During T's stay, he fell twice. First fall he austained a subdural hematoma, laceration requiring stitches and a short hospital stay. Second fall also required sutures to his head. Per family, he not found for a while after one of the falls. Video monitoring inoperable. He was moved to this facility because they have video monitoring to prevent these things from happening. Other issues, T found dirty sitting in feces by son (pictures taken), the room was dirty. Piles of dirty linens and clothes sitting on floor. He was found wearing clothes that weren't his. Poor hygiene and his wedding ring missing. I understand this is a difficult population to work with, but if all of this happened to one resident in a short period of time, what is going on with the rest? I was appalled when I heard of these events after reading glowing reviews of the facility before T's admission. Fortunately T is no longer there. Hopefully others are getting better care than what T received.

We brought my father-in-law to this facility after being at another one and not well taken care of. He had lost his will to live. When we moved him to The Landing, he was so well taken care of, he was happy and eating again and this man who was bed ridden for months was now up and walking. They treated him like family. I can not recommend this facility enough, I would give it 10 stars if I could. We were finally at ease knowing we could leave him at night or during the day and not worry about if he was being taken care of. The staff has always been friendly and helpful from the sweet girl at the front to each and every staff I encountered. They always had him changed, dressed and clean. Thank you to The Landing for being like family during this time.

The Landing at Stone Oak has far exceeded my family’s expectations! The Management team and nursing staff are very competent and I highly recommend this facility if you want your family well-taken care of. I would give them more stars if I could. They are that good. Corey
